          “But there are constants to certain actions. That’s like saying a dictatorship can go well. Prosecuting others for things you are not even sure about is just a recipe for  bad times.”

          “And we go back to the same reasoning. Bad things will lead to bad things. And you’re so against this because you see our method as bad while we believe that avoiding crimes and catastrophes before they happen is the ideal way to protect people. We are NOT imprisoning them for crimes they have not committed, we are simply preventing the act itself from taking place.”

        “Well, isn’t that what we all are doing? What we believe. Slow your roll; I didn’t say who i was with. This is a mess, but actions have to be taken to stop what you all are starting.” You’d think they’d pay more head to someone who has seen tragedies like this unfold. 

       “Not all universes are the same. You would know that. Not all starts lead to the same ends. If we’re using the kid’s abilities responsibly, then we have control of what we’re doing. The suitcase is simply a mystery we have yet to investigate.”

      “Yeah. news flash; I think my earlier actions made that clear. But you’re making a mistake. I’d back off the whole situation now.”

       “We are doing what we believe is correct, and I’m not going to stop doing the right thing. If you don’t think so, go with Stark; I’m sure he is still running experiments to prove us wrong.”

         “Oh, so soon? I was only here for damage control. I was waiting for you all to slip up.”

       “So the first thing you do is attack your teammates. We will not tolerate such behavior, America. You’re out.”

       “Not really. It’s only a name given by the         media, originally. There is no actual or         great meaning behind it. Although Ms.         Marvel is a close friend of mine.”

“Whether or not I can see it coming, there’s not much I can do if any one of you guys decide that I’m too much trouble.” Ulysses smiled nervously, letting out a chuckle. “If I’m useful to you guys, hopefully I’m useful enough to keep Stark and Miss Danvers from tearing eachother apart.”

“And I’ve seen some scary things.”

       “We know this, kid. Leave the Stark and Danvers problem to us, you have one job. If you think that you can help people through these visions you have, then use your powers and whatever is at your reach. This is a gift and, in my opinion, you would be wasting it if you don’t use it for the reason it was given to you. But that’s just me.”

    Adam is respectful but also blunt when he can be.     He only shrugs at her comment, unable to find the     mistake in his question.

              “As if that would offend a woman like you. My name is                Adam, I am the Blue Marvel. Only back to business a                couple of years ago. It’s no wonder I’m still unknown.”

Mighty Avengers- Difference between The Ultimates & The Illuminati

      “That’s a relief.” And this time, she wasn’t being sarcastic. Having people who actually wanted to work together and not tear each other down was something America only experienced once while apart of a team. That’s why she was never crazy about them. But the Ultimates proved to be reliable. “I hope we do it quick. I’m getting migraines from all of this dimension-hopping…” It was unusual for her to admit this, but she was trying out something new. Being a little more open about her struggles. After all, they were a team, right?

       Adam still felt responsible for the stress and physical strain the team was imposing upon her shoulders. They were asking so much of her. “I figured as much...” The most important part about this was that she could not feel the Ultimates were merely USING her for the powers. She was part of the team as any other member. In fact, as one of its most vital members. “I have been thinking that you should either take a break from dimension-hopping or accept being studied so we make sure this power is not affecting you physically. Especially your brain.” Honestly, he had been wishing he could get a picture of it.

           ‘ i have died before, adam. it was likely those kinds of thoughts that led to it, believing i was invincible and invulnerable. not everyone dies from foolishness and weakness — some sacrifice themselves for the good of others.

not me, clearly —– i died because i was stupid and enraged. but my point stands. ’

       “Forgive me. I might have missed that moment while I was away.” Living secluded from society. Times better forgotten. “Of course,” Adam nodded. “I could not call myself a hero if I didn’t understand your point. There are times when such sacrifices must be made.”

Ulysses smiled a half-cocked smile, delicately scratching the base of his hair-elastic. “His Majesty’s pretty good about sneaking it too, must have special ninja training.” He joked. “I think it’s way cool when Supers like him do so well, someone who doesn’t have any powers…” Ulysses trailed off.

“But, uh-” He stammered. “-now that I can breathe my way through these visions, what worries me most is what I’m doing to the teams. Miss Danvers and Mister Stark seemed pretty divided on what to do with me.”

       “The Black Panther?” Adam laughed. “I don’t know what they teach you kids at school these days, but the King of Wakanda does possess special abilities. Which does not mean ‘Supers like him’ doing well is not something to be proud of. Especially as a friend of mine.”

       Adam had heard of the conflict that involved Captain Marvel, one of his teammates, and a woman he respected deeply. He could see why she was opposing Stark’s ideas, he considered his actions to be driven merely by the emotions following the passing of his best friend. Basically, rushed and inappropriate. “Let them argue, kid. If you decide to stop either of them, it will get worse. You will be safe.”
