I could use the mother but I don't really feel like it, she's more of yk cold blooded and I think her and mercury wouldn't get that along. Just as colleges and nothing else, but with the father i see smth yk deeper (after all i ship them).

But if put all
there's no healthy ships but father and mother. I like ship of father and mercury but i I idealize them too much, Mercury is clearly in despair/apathy. But i can definitely say that he's just fucking tired, at first he found out that all of his life "They" lied to him, next his wife refuses to leave with him, soon after he's been brutally killed and dismemberment by her, after his death he looks really ugly and have to have a fight with some "the approaching storm" aka his schizophrenic wife on god level. He's TIRED, he himself talking about it as about "it's just too much for me to handle" and "i never wanted to be alive" (song) so maybe he was in apathetic state before his death (possibly due to the actions he had to take, read the linked post to understand). And the father (in reflections on the ship) is the first in years actually listen and support him. After they go to the bar and all this alcohol.
It's REALLY dependent relationships on the part of Mercury cuz again after YEARS of shit happening with you, just a drop of affection can be felt like something mind-blowing and be addictive like a drug. And considering he's in a deep pit, getting another addition is easy.

i ended the leading post with talk about about how there IS a "reference" to Saturn, eating his own kids, just in a little bit different form. Colven (aka HUMAN! Mercury) is the one who was killing all this kids that has been putted inside C'venash. Or not, yall will never know if you won't read it rn.
I can't say exactly why he could've done that, but it's all in the circle of knowing something OR being scared of something that going to be after. But still i think it's both, so that way he could accidentally find out smth he shouldn't, go to C'venash and tell her about it, and this is what lyric of his song is about

I'm finally back yayyyy hiii i have no idea how to start this so imagine a cool idk begining
at the beginning I said "direct connection" and i lied a bit, i think karbonic just took a little bit of this a little bit of that so there's a lot of references but this post mostly going to be about religion
Christianity and Queen of Venus aka C'venash
In Psychopomp reality, or better to say in life of traits, Queen of Venus is the Jesus. Of course there's literally a church, and if i remember correctly with crucifixion with Queen of Venus on it, despite that I don't think that they completely repeat it all as it's in the bible. After all it's completely different religion, even tho the god of it is coming from a religious Christian-like-bug-connected sect. But there's a reference to bible, maybe there's more than I've found but i don't have a bible or much time. It's the most obvious one but it's about the snake and apple, for someone who doesn't know it's about how Satan, in the form of a snake, tricks Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, and they are eventually driven out of the garden. In Psychopomp it's a little different but still it has the same meaning, demon in form of a dog aka the king of all dogs (and family) deceive God/s for their own gain or other personal intentions.And if talk about the traits only, their society looks like an a closed Christian community with a certain hierarchy. I already talked about the Evrens in other post, and there I also mentioned hierarchy, but if in their case this hierarchy is based on the fact that some protect the village from evil and other take care of other things (gardening, watching offspring, blacksmiths, weapon makers, monk and similar people "close to God"). I think their hierarchy is more visible, but built on the church. For that who doesn't know, in In societies where the church is at the head, the hierarchy is built on religion. At the pinnacle of the social structure is the clergy. The head of the church is also the ruler of the state. His authority is considered absolute, as it emanates directly from God. But in simple terms, the closer you are to God, the cooler you live and the fancier you dress.
And if go deeper in "dressing" part, the difference between working class and the monks is really clear. Before yall read it, i wanna say that in this part he's talking about ceremony and celebrations. But imho I think that there is a different a layer of traits that deals with all interactions with the gods and care for the church, or whatever the hell church workers do. And i think only Elder Thrait could be a church worker, and they could have a "Sunday school" where Thrait Youngling could learn about the gods, learn their way of holy book and in future also become a church worker if they would want.

AND
Thraits know about the king of Mercury, in the location "Thraits Village" there's this drawing on the wall. And if you open your eyes you can see that this figures "holding hands" that represents creating the universe. And they both holding symbols, and both of this symbols represent Venus and Mercury in mythology. So it's another poin about taking references from different regions (crosses are about Christianity)
So why they don't pay just as much attention towards the king of Mercury as much as they do it to Queen of Venus? Because she's the main for them, she's the one who creates live, she's the one who created them (cuz mercury created Evrens) and just mercury is more focused on his own creations. And probably because Venus and Mercury are completely different planets so Evrens and Thraits live on different planets.
MERCURY AND GREEK GODS
I can't say i really LOVE him, he's nice and im just as happy to yapp about him as im happy to yapp about vena, but due of not enough info about him i don't think his part would be as big as venuses
BUT i can definitely say that we're twin he also has a fucking ship ass on his head just as me, also having curly ahh hair, we are matching β€οΈβπ©Ή
new head canon. he used to spend HOURS in bathroom cuz i know it takes a lot of time and effort to make curly hair look at least a bit not like THE bush.
But back to the theorys, C'venash and Colven repeat the fate odf Jesus aka C'venash and Judas aka Colven. In short, Judas betrayed Jesus just as Colven betrayed C'venash (I won't go deep in what and how) and just as Judas he repented and killed himself. In Psychopomp 2 his first line would be about how "it's just too much for him to handle", so he understand that he's fucked up and he's wrong.
ALSO, there's a missed opportunity where Karbonic could make a reference to the Greek mythology and Saturn. In really short, Saturn ate his own kids so he could stay god for much longer. I think that there is a reference to it but in a bit different form. But I'll yapp about it post that ill make soon so wait yay
