You’re literally the person I’ve always wanted, but your heart is with someone who broke it. I just have to remind myself that whenever you’re with me, you’re probably wishing I were her. Maybe I’m a placeholder. Maybe you’re so used to in a relationship that this form of friendship is how you cope. All I know is that you don’t feel how I do. The truth hurts, but knowing you is worth figuring out how to get over this because you’re objectively awesome and someone I need in my life. People say that couples in long distance relationship are vulnerable. And I’ll be a hypocrite to say NO to this.

That’s why couples in this kind of relationship are people who should be applauded. Imagine yourself in this situation wherein you cannot just ride a bus or a taxi or whatever transportation there is just to be with the one you love. And there will be times when you can’t control how much you miss him/her that hearing his/her voice isn’t even enough. When you try to touch the computer screen, and not the face of the one you yearn for. When facebook status, viber messages and skype calls aren’t enough to express how you feel about this person. Imagine it, it’s difficult isn’t it?

Yes, we are what you say the vulnerable ones because we can be easily broken by the hardship we go through in this kind of relationship. But, just to say this straight, we try our best not to because we know that someday, the pain and difficulties that we are going through right now are just going to be all worth it when we are FINALLY with the person we love.

Mahal mo ako; mahal kita. Busy ako; busy ka. May priorities ako; may priorities ka… Siguro nga—sadyang hindi lang ito yung tamang oras para sa ating dalawa. Maaaring magkabalikan tayo makalipas ang ilang taon kapag handa na ulit tayo o kaya naman makahanap na tayo ng ibang tao na ating mamahalin. Nakakalungkot mang isipin na baka sa huli ay hindi na tayo ang magkatuluyan, pero gusto kong sabihin sa’yo na sobra akong naging masaya kasama ka.

Minsan gusto kong kwestyunin ang mundo kung bakit may mga taong nagmamahalan pero hindi naman pala nakatakdang magsama sa tamang oras at panahon.

Bakit kailangan pa tayong pagtagpuin ng tadhana kung hindi naman pala tayo para sa isa’t-isa? Tayo man o hindi ang para sa isa’t-isa, tandaan mo sana na… “Minahal kita nang sobra.” // (-l.m.l.b)
