tony wasn’t expecting the shove && for a few seconds, it does knock the air out of him && he’s rendered powerless to move – but once he’s recovered ( && is sure he can run – god, he hated running. ) he set out after the other. feet hit hard against the floor && he’s cursing himself for telling steve to home instead of come to the lab with him, steve would of been on this guy in seconds ——- once he catches up enough to be heard, he speaks ( breathy && loud. )

‘ there’s going to be security on you as soon you leave the building. ’ a deep intake of breath && he has to push himself further. ‘ just talk to me && NOT get arrested. ’

As soon as he heard Tony’s warning, Nathan stopped dead in his tracks. He looked down and catched his breath. He certainly wasn’t as exhausted as the other was; running was something he did for a living. “DON’T” he replied loud enough to be heard. “Just... please don’t tell anyone about this... about ME” and as soon as he was done talking, he started changing. Along with his height & shape, his clothes changed with him as well. The mutate turned back, facing Stark.

“Just PLEASE don’t call security on me” now he had to explain what he was doing it there. It was so much easier to just shift into someone and go in and out unnanounced. “ please”

CONFUSION flares over his expression —— with an i.q high enough to be considered a GENIUS, tony has no idea how to even start to fathom this. eyebrows furrow && there’s something close to anger ( maybe at the fact he can’t UNDERSTAND, or because his apparent twin is fucking around with his lab. ) that comes over his expression && it shows in his voice.

‘ ————– you better START explaining. ’

Nathan messed up. All that time being careful, apparently, was for nothing. POWERED individuals were feared, chased. He didn’t want people to find out about him, about his powers. But at the same time, he couldn’t lie or talk his way out of this. His only way out was to RUN. He slowly began to approach him. “ actually... I can’t” Once he was close enough, he shoved Stark into the wall and rushed towards the exit. “SORRY ABOUT THAT” he yelled as he jumped over a table to ease his escape.
