ugh ok so i could go on for years about their writing. just . the general way they describe things is simultaneously colorful, engaging, and?? somehow not overdone, to use a steak term, i dunno. but yes, this is the Pinnacle of ms. howlett. ok . i love jamie & they’ve managed to combine all of the elements of her character into something fantastic & actually pretty fucking empowering. it’s always a thrill to read their threads and get hella inspired.

    he honestly hasn’t seen her since the invasion of mother and her eldtrich abominations. it seemed as if no one was able to escape her influence, but that was such a long time ago. he doesn’t really know what to expect out of this one. she ; the wolverine. might as well grumpiness incarnate. he hasn’t forgotten that she tried to kill his fiance, which still leaves a sour taste in his mouth, but what could he do now?

a smile tugged at the corners of his lips and the expression itself looked foreign . it had been a while since he had been able to flash a genuine smile as his eyes lit up with astonishment , it felt nice . and the fact that he was face to face with somebody whom he deemed a hero , despite never being able to afford merch or read the papers , made the experience even more exhilarating . ❛ i’m sorry , i -- i just never thought that i’d see you in person . ❜

      GIVEN HIS TRACK RECORD, she should not be terribly surprised when she ( inevitably ) finds him skulking about; then again, it isn’t as though he’d come with the intention of remaining hidden. no, by her, he wanted to be found ----- where would their entertaining ( if not slightly repetitive ) game of cat-and-mouse lay otherwise? she can’t hide from him; not since the time they spent together in the depths has come and gone. he won’t let her forget it.
