anyways i think people dont tap in to the fact that c!technoblade is an anarchist enough. sure, people mention it offhand in fics or talk about it a little bit, but i really think theres so much more to explore there. ESPECIALLY in au's set in completely different settings
the DSMP completely built on political power. its what everyone strives to have, and many of the governments are oppressive and work to benefit the ones in charge instead of the people. That makes it pretty easy for Technoblade to believe in anarchy because of this in specific, because literally all the governments on the smp have been corrupt.
But what if technoblade was raised in a different world, where there were non-corrupt governments? How would that change his ideas of government and the corruption inside them?
In other universes, where the story isnt built on political power, how would it change?
One of the things i think about is how Technoblade seems to hate government itself and not the people under it. And thinks that the government always will corrupt in the end, even of its made with good intentions and good people. I mean, the USA did start out as a revolution against bad people and then look at whos president. Land of the free my ass.
if technoblade was, lets just say a teacher instead of an anarchist, how would those ideals translate? Anarchy is about the right to self determination and, in the end, there should not be a person in power. Some anarchists have different ideas, but the underlying idea is freedom and hating laws and rules. Technoblade as a teacher might hate having a strict teaching schedule, so its just. really interesting to think about. IDK everyone live laugh love i like c!techno
