“I’ve got a practice game coming up. I don’t have time to—what’s it to you anyway!?”
◤→◢ ❝ Hey, don't make that face! It's not cool! ❞
You don’t like it? Yuyuka wasn’t willing to smile just to fulfill his wishes, she wasn’t satisfied with that reason. She was clueless as to why the expression on her face had such an impact him so much. So when he held up what appeared to be a water gun to her head, she was rather startled; harmless water gun or not.
”Just what do you think you’re doing?”
◤→◢ ❝ If you keep frowning I'll make you smile with this! ❞
Line of vision darted towards the child's toy, as if to indicate the use of the lime green piece of plastic. Haru had seen his good friend Yuki make that face before, when he grew nervous. For some reason, the uneasiness of it didn't mix with Haru.
❝ Don't you know that water is magic? ❞
Did she not realize he could control people's minds with this thing? Did all humans not realize that water was precious; magical, even?

Why can’t she just read in peace. “What is it?”
◤→◢ ❝ Ooooh, which book is that? I heard a lot of people read here, on Earth! ❞
✩; hyajuu } ✩; princesa-de-sangre }
◤→◢ ❝ It's so late out! Don't you have parents or something, like regular humans do? ❞
“I am not pouting!” Queue the annoyed sigh and another pout.
◤→◢ ❝ You're still making that face! I don't like it! ❞
No matter how ironic the situation was getting to be, Haru didn't like it when people were undoubtedly irritated. The expression was contagious, and he too would soon conform to her sour attitude. So, in order to prevent such events, the alien swiftly took hold of his water gun, pointing it straight at her forehead. If the girl didn't lighten up, he'd be forced to use it.
Xander blinked, feeling a little anxious. He hadn’t confirmed if he was human or not yet. What if he just…? No, he shouldn’t think of such things. Besides, if he just left this person due to his anxiety, he could accidentally pass up the chance to study a magnificent specimen!
The alien shuffled slightly. The synthesizer never got his name right— not the pronunciation, anyway. “X-Xan… der…” It was what he preferred. He had no idea why he made his fake documents ‘Alexander’, really. Perhaps because ‘Xander’ felt more like a nickname. That said, he couldn’t remember the last time he had to really… say his name. It was interesting, really. “And you?”
❝ H A R U! ❞
◤→◢ Quite the...punctual entrance, but enthusiastic nonetheless.
❝ I'm Haru, the alien boy who lives in Enoshima! But I'm sure you already knew that, because everyone does! ❞
The thought of conversing with a total stranger had completely slipped his mind, thus throwing the 'alien' thing around at his heart's content. Yuki's grandmother had always told him to be polite and never lie, because that's what humans appreciated. He was still learning so much about them, even after the occurrence with almost ending the world. Funny story, really.
❝ Boy, you do look strong, so I was right about the strong name! It would be wrong to call you Xander-chan, so I'll just leave it as Xander. ❞
Haru was the nickname king, as he so proudly deemed himself. Personally, he took it as a sign of friendship, and the more friends the better, yes?
“Ah —No! I play Peek-a-boo with my brother all the time-!”
She gave a shake of her head. A warm small smile then again arose onto her face. Though she didn’t seem like the type. She would act childish in her own ways too. This time. She rose her pale hands across her eyes. “…”
◤→◢ ❝ I wonder where she could be! ❞
The remark was spoken as a joke, albeit rather playful. Sitting contently as the girl decided to participate, her warm grin couldn't help but become infectious. So, Haru remained seated, waiting for her vibrant irises to unveil themselves once more.
"Weird is also what people aren’t used to!"
She stated as well along with his statement. And he happened to be a great example of both versions of ‘weird’.
"Eh?"
Did she hear him correctly? Alien? Was he joking?….. No it doesn’t seem like it.
"You are?"
◤→◢ ❝ Of course I am! I would never lie about who I am -- it's bad. ❞
He masked her skepticism by telling her the whole and utter truth. There was no hint of remorse to the confession, just stating the facts. What did people have against aliens here on Earth, anyways? Sure, his brother had almost caused the imminent destruction of Earth, but that only happened once. Sometimes siblings are uncontrollable.
❤ Keep love in your heart. ❤
A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.

{ ☢ } The flowers in this garden reminded her of her mom’s garden. It was a small one, out on the front lawn. Her mother would tend to them every single day, white primed gloves and a matching apron, she would wear a sun hat while watering the pretty daises. Her mother took pride in that garden.
Bonnie had completely forgotten the rules and etiquette of not entering someone’s property without permission, but her mind seemed slightly in a daze. The flowers seemed very important to her for some reason, so she had to see them up close.
❝ Keito, don't wither, because you're just like me. ❞
◤→◢ The statement had tumbled off of lips more solemnly than intended. With these moments to himself, water gun in hand, smoothing his grip upon the plastic grooves, staring at the bursting perennials before him -- it really let Haru's mind wander.
The box placed firmly onto greenery in the front lawn of Yuki's home had been in rough shape lately, no matter how much Haru tended to their whims. A good watering, fertilizer when needed, and the secrets the boy shared when they were alone together should perk them up nice and tall, but no dice. And now, he sat, thinking about how when he will have no water.
When he will have no one to till his roots. When he will have no one to tell him how their day was, or how much he shown in the sun. When he will simply not have a shoulder to lean on.
But how could he say that when this stranger had been leaning near his, inspecting Keito with such intent? He was almost stunned by how she had crept up on him without making a sound, but the only thing the alien did was let out a -- quite audible -- grumble, cupping his hand over his ear and leaning into the bushel of petals. His tone was almost humorously childish.
❝ Keito said she doesn't want any visitors right now. ❞
✩; yuyukaneko }
◤→◢ ❝ Hey, pouting is no good! If you keep making that face, it'll stay like that forever! ❞
The pinkette smiled. Clasping both of her hands together. How cheerful. How cute. “I see you too”
◤→◢ ❝ Peek-a-boo is no fun with one person. ❞
A pout had tugged at his lips, ultimately putting his hands back down like a civilized person. Geez, sometimes he could really be a kid.
❝ But I guess it's for babies, right? ❞
“Hrm..” She seems to be observing him. Not making any move to talk to him either.
◤→◢ Eyes peek through tightened fingers to reveal another set of rose hues. Making his positive attitude apparent, he continues his terrifically fun activity.
❝ Peek-a-boo! I see you! ❞
Xander blinked when the other male approached the group. Someone… not human? He was taken aback by that very much so. It was just his instincts, really. He was nervous— very nervous to jump to conclusions. Was he another one of his species perhaps? The raven-haired male approached the blond with a slight smile.
"Hello."
◤→◢ A synthesizer? Was the male a mute? Of course, Haru wouldn't say anything of the sort -- he had met countless amounts of strangers down the road, some stranger than others. As if he should talk; an otherworldly being like himself shared similar qualities akin to that of a human, but he was truly different from the next guy.
Or, in this case, was he really?
❝ Oooh, what's your name? Since you're so tall, you should probably have a strong name, right? ❞
✩; hxnshi }
◤→◢ He's playing peek-a-boo and no one seems to be around, from what he can tell.
