Chapter 1

Chapter 2: A Growing Attraction

James and Mika were working together well, and they were starting to get to know each other better. James found himself drawn to Mika more and more. She was kind, funny, and intelligent. He could see himself falling in love with her.

But he knew that he had to be careful. Mika had made it clear that she didn't want to get involved in anything romantic. He didn't want to do anything that would jeopardize their working relationship or her relationship with Harry.

So, he kept his feelings to himself. But he couldn't help but hope that one day, she might feel the same way about him.

One day, they were working in the kitchen together, and James accidentally spilled some hot tea on his hand. Mika rushed over to help him, and she gently cleaned the wound.

As she was cleaning his hand, James looked into her eyes and saw the love that was there. He knew that she felt the same way about him.

But he still didn't say anything. He was afraid of scaring her away.

Chapter 1: A New Nanny

James Potter was a widower. His wife, Lily, had died in childbirth, and he was left to raise their young son, Harry, on his own.

James was struggling. He was working long hours at his job, and he didn't have much time to spend with Harry. He was also struggling to cope with his grief, and he felt like he was failing as a father.

One day, James decided to hire a nanny to help him with Harry. He interviewed several candidates, but he wasn't sure who to choose.

Then, he met Mika. She was young, but she was kind, patient, and experienced with children. She also had a way of making Harry feel comfortable and safe.

James hired Mika, and she quickly became an important part of their lives. She helped James to take care of Harry, and she also helped him to cope with his grief.

James was starting to feel like he was finally getting his life back on track. He had a good job, a loving son, and a supportive nanny. He was starting to feel like he could be a good father after all.

hey everyone I am thinking of starting a collection of small fics the first will be called Finding Home

summary: basically about James Potter's journey as a single dad after Lily's death. Although James is heartbroken, he meets a kind and supportive woman who helps him overcome the challenges of raising Harry.

I will post the first small chapter out of the 4 in a few minutes its a bit short and rushed but an overall a sweet story i will think about expanding it with more details and going on ao3 but first here is the small bits<3
