And honestly - this old fart will actually go so far as to say:  I think the life experiences that we gain as we get older only enriches our storytelling and makes our creative output that much more interesting and compelling. 

I know it’s convenient for me to say as someone who is a consumer first and foremost, because I’m not the one putting in the countless hours and all of the hard work that it takes to write a story:  but I hope you will never, ever stop reading and writing fanfics.
