Today has not been the best day at school.

I was slushied before I had even entered the building this morning so for anyone wondering that was the reason your shoes were most likely sticky when you were walking on the pavement directly outside of the front door. I was wearing one of my favourite sweaters too - it had a purple silhouette of a deer on it and my grandmother had bought it for me for Hanukkah last year and now it is in the bathroom bin, helpless and about to make a journey to an even bigger bin surrounded by banana peels and gone-off milk cartons. She’ll be so disappointed when I tell her. I then choked on an orange seed at lunch time, effectively putting my throat on rest for the next few hours until I was sure there would be no damage to my vocal cords. That’s not even to mention the slushie at the end of the day that made me ten minutes later to home than usual and causing my fathers to worry about the terrible things that could have happened to me in those ten minutes.

I think I’m now going to have to take a long, relaxing bath to shake off the events of the day and to prepare for another series of similar events tomorrow.
