i genuinely draw the line at any negativity directed towards bbc ralph. GO AND FUCK YOURSELF. I WOULD GENUINELY GO TO WAR FOR HIM.

tell me why i see people going on about how he’s “inaccurately characterised” compared to the other film versions…. um. the others don’t even show the farm or his upbringing or anything. in what world is bbc ralph not the most accurate…?!!!!

the original black and white film is more accurate because almost every scene is word for word from the book

the bbc version , however , cuts Many of Ralph’s lines in favor of giving them to Simon (for some reason)

so if we are talking about book accuracy here then yea no he’s not the most accurate . Hes still a pretty faithful rendition though !! Compare him to the 1990 version LMAO
