Okay but why has no one talked about the fact that during a time of crisis, Teller hears Midland and Radio Bob’s voices in his head telling him what to do? Because that shit is too cute and it deserves to be brought up. When the bomb was literally seconds from going off, in an incredibly tense few moments when Teller didn’t even have time to fully consciously think, his brain conjures up a way to help him solve the problem so Teller and people he cares about don’t die. And that solution? The thing his subconscious finds trusting and reassuring? It’s his team. It’s Midland and Bob both snarking at Teller and walking him through whatever steps he needs to take to successfully disarm the bomb. That is adorable. Like his brain is under immense stress and all it can think to do is say, “hey, these two weirdos have your back, you can trust them.” Like I said, that shit is cute.
