“It has been, for sure.” Her teal eyes were following his unique movements, she wasn’t sure what it was he was doing at the moment.
“dont be so tense…”
he stopped infront of her and raised an eyebrow
“Sorry, I’m just wondering what it is that is making you making you stare like that. It’s kind of intense.”

“Miku. Hatsune Miku.” The sixteen year old replied, flashing a smile toward the male. “A pleasure to meet you~”
For a moment, Ventus was processing the name in his head, as he then realized something. “Whoa! you’re THE Miku Hatsune? I didnt expect to see you around here.” Ventus says as he was a bit nervous to before a popular idol. “P-Pleased to meet you as well Miku…but what are you doing out and about?”
“In the flesh!” Miku said, followed by a wink and peace sign. She noted his surprise but this wasn’t even the first time someone was surprised to see her out in the town. That was just how she spent her days off, today was one of those days. She raised her glasses onto the bridge of her nose. “I spend my days off shopping around town. I was just about to grab a bite to eat, though.”

Deep Sea Girl was one of my favorites from when I was first introduced to Vocaloid, so I wanted to draw it sooner or later. I tried a cel-shade style for this one because I wanted to draw cel-shaded bubbles.
Didn’t turn out all that bad, tbh.
Miku’s Day Off

“There is probably one-hundred better ways that I could have met you, Ryou. It’s a pleasure nonetheless.”
Taking his extended hand, Miku shook it gently. After letting go, she turned to look at the food court, where she was previously headed. Maybe this male would like to join. It’s not everyday someone gets to share a meal with a teen idol. Not many teen idols would even make such an offer.
“Would you like to grab a bite to eat with me?”
“its the least i can do, i feel i owe you alot for this uhh, unpleasurable experience”
probably not the best wording but he was on the spot, he was breaking his code after running into her and well, the food court wasnt bad per say, a good start to paying her back
“let us not count the ways we could have met and make the most of that we did”

“I’m guessing that this meal is going to be your treat, is that right?”
Miku was not at all sure if that was the case at all but she had to ask in order to make sure. If it wasn’t that was fine with her. The last thing she wanted for him was to think he had to repay some form of debt for what had just minutes earlier.

Unexpected being bumped into from behind, that was the scream which she let out at the moment. Undeniably, Miku was going down but even in falling, she moved gracefully. She pulled off a simple turning maneuver so that instead of landing on her face, her behind hit the ground.
Her position was probably very much like something from an anime. One hand had flown to her skirt to hold it down while the other held her head. As if wincing, one eye was closed while the other was angled up at who had presumably bumped into her. It was obvious as he apologized for the incident.
Getting up and dusting herself, she bowed her head with a gentle smile. “Don’t worry about it, just try to be more careful next time. I’m Miku, by the way. Maybe you already know that though.”
“uhh, Ryou because you probably dont know that”
he offered her a hand, what a dick was he, knocking down a girl… he had to make it up for her somehow, his own hand going through his muffled perm keeping his eyes low but the other direction from her… so graceful and elegant…

As Miku was walking around without any real destination in mind at the moment, a certain feeling came to her. It was as if she was being watched. With the amount of people around, was that really something she would be worrying about? Probably not. Besides, it was probably just some fan admiring her from a distance once he or she realized who they were looking at. Shrugging it off, she decided to head for the food court.

It was a rare day off for the teenage idol who didn’t even want to have the day off at all. However, her producer insisted that she was pushing herself to hard and that time off would only do her good. As much as Miku didn’t want to take the advice, she did. Switching out her contacts in favor of her glasses, she decided to go do some shopping in town.
