speaking in code and not tagging anything so my house doesnt get burnt down but yknow i think if you watch the scifi horror show purely just for a ship and get upset when the main focal point of the scifi horror show isnt the ship being canon then you've kinda set yourself up for disappointment

i have my own opinions about the writing of will's coming out scene but like im sorry it's been so blatantly obvious this entire time that his love for mike has and will always be one-sided. mike being "will's tammy" is such a better outcome instead of mike cheating on or leaving el (regardless of what actually ends up happening to her in the finale) for will. will coming to terms with and being comfortable with his sexuality in theory should mean a lot more to viewers instead of mike rapid-fire realizing oh wait im gay and actually in love with my best friend. the duffer brothers definitely suck at writing queer characters, yes, but to completely stunt will and mikes individual character development just for the sake of fanservice and ship slop would have been a horrible writing choice. when I eat a bacon egg and cheese I feel like a disney princess to whom animals flock, singing and bearing gifts, in this case those animals being a cow chicken and pig, the cow brings me milk wgich it turns into cheese, the chicken brings its eggs in a pretty little basket, and the pig kills itself which usually brings the mood down a little bit for like a moment but we recover
