Boy do I love this design…. I would say this is THE Miku. Or at least in this gen of becoming a piapro vocal synth character. This design says “beauty, elegance, innocence and digital era.”
And her wide sleeves!!! They are back baby!!!!
The way i would describe the difference between this design and the v2 design would be metal(v2) and plastic(nt)
Take everything I said about iXimas older Miku designs and apply to this one because I’ll just be repeating everything I said, BUT ADD ANGEL TOO IT.
She’s an absolute beauty, an angel, a goddess. This designs represents the impact of Hatsune Miku. It isn’t the definitive representation but that’s because I think there should be no such thing as definitive anything for Hatsune Miku.
She looks a lot older too, her v4 design made her look 14 but now she looks 16. Also a lot of her hair is back DO NOT MAKE A BALDING JOKE OH MY GOD ITS SO ANNOYING.
There’s a lot of little details I love about this design so I’m just going to list them since I don’t really have anything important to say about them.
Her little chain thing replacing her fabric belt on her hip
Her cute little high heels
The little dot on her knees
BUT WAIT before I end this, if you been reading my other posts on her designs you should know I don’t like ‘frilly’ designs and I don’t think I ever said this before, don’t really like any other shape besides square for her hair bands… her Chinese design has an excuse it has a very purposeful reason of being like that but it makes me uncomfortable to look at.
On the design though- it’s absolutely perfect. I love the (I guess?) fake flat frills. I think I found why I don’t like frills, it’s Lolita fashion. I just don’t like Lolita fashion at all, I used to but it’s just not for me. The Lolita aesthetic feels really oppressive to me and generally makes me extremely uncomfortable, no hate to people who dress Lolita though! I’m only talking about the fashion, not the culture. My feelings towards it is rooted in some cultural trauma too.
And on the her hair bands. It fits and looks good. If the the hair bands were square I feel it would screw up the whole design. The circular hair bands were NEEDED. Everything is very smoothed out compared to her v2 design, imagine if she just had some random boxy thing in her design compared to her curvy and clothing and hair design.
