HIS SALVATION:

                                                    MILDSUNG.

 delicate, soft fingers fumble with  brass keys; they ‘ tink ‘ against one another as she walks side by side with the taller male. her voice, though rather hoarse, fights with the wind as she speaks, nothing important but the day’s business. if he was kind enough to escort her home from work, she may as well indulge him in her well-being, even if it is rather boring. 

                               ‘ and then my mother called, but i was too busy to answer. ‘ 

‘heh, your mother cares for you a lot, mh?’

it made him sad, but del’s mother was kind of his mother as well; but despite the fact that they were not related by blood, he ever acknowledged the feeling of a real parent such as his real mother. and yet, he didn’t mind it. del’s mother was great anyway; and she treated him well, too. 

he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her a little closer. he was a little nervous, though; because he didn’t know how she would react by this.
