Through time. She gives with such patience and consideration. I honor the day she entered this earth and my life. Happy Birthday Reshu.

Through fire. In exceptionally tough times Reshma is ever compassionate, and graceful. I celebrate the day she entered this world, and entered my life. Happy Birthday my love!

This summer my sister and new brother-in-law gave me these socks as a Happy Birthday / welcome to Chicago gift. We were there celebrating their new marriage. The next day I wore the socks as we watched the Cubs win at Wrigley. I was texting dad play-by-play throughout the game. He stopped responding, then I got this text late in the ninth inning: "Sorry fell asleep sonny Go cubs! Love you Back post nap Love to gang Talk soon B" It would be the last text he ever sent me. Later that week when dad was in the hospital in bad shape, his new son-in-law asked if there was anything he could bring. Dad's only request was "a really fresh Cubs cap." When Breon arrived with the hat, my dad looked like he was about 5 years old in it - happy to have another son and a new old team to root for. Today I wore these socks and walked around in the rain. They stink now, but the Cubs won, so there. Happy to have a new brother, and a new old team to root for.
