Weeee!
Of course i injure my heel running because WHY NOT AM I RIGHT?! Im assuming because of the extra weight I am carrying, running is a lot harder on my body. (Makes sense as far as physics goes - more lbs of force on my legs each step) Not going to let it get me down! I work nightshift the next two nights which works fine because that means my feet have timw to recover and I can go for a run on Wednesday or Thursday! :)
My vet told me a few months ago that Lacey could lose a few pounds. Turns out she gained 2 more instead!! :O So yesterday I started The Great Lacey Fitness Challenge!! Gotta get my pupper in shape
Today was bleck! Workee nightshift last night, came home and slept an hour before heading back off to take my dog Dobby (see photo) to the vet. Was waiting for him to be finishd so I had to grab something to eat on the go. Picked up a McDonalds egg mcmuffin. Was sooooo goos but the hashbrown was so oily made me feel sick! Didnt get home until afternoon and slept on the couch restlessly! Did some work at home and now I have to work AGAIN tomorrow! Blahhhh. Oh and I also have a allergy appointment before work. On the plus side, i dont work nightshift tonight, i got some sweet Adventure Time pajamas and a full length mirror. So i guess it wasnt too bad! :D
Super nerd run today for day 1 of C25K! Hatched pokemon, listened to fantasy audiobook and clocked miles for the hufflepuff house!
I haven't posted much recently. (By much I mean - at all.) I have recovered so much from my anxiety/depression. I mean I still have anxiety but with medication it is so much more manageable now! The last two years really took its toll on me. I gained probably 65 lbs? Which is crazy to think about. I'm 10 pounds heavier then my last highest weight. Obviously weight foesnt equate health but my goodness can I tell a difference! Particularly with running. Which is heart breaking because running is one of my favourite things. I am excited to start runnjng again. Athe Hogwarts Running Club is ny major motivator. :) I love competing for mileage against the other houses. It's a total blast! I am still active! I actually juat biked from Bruges Belgium to Paris France in August! (Thats where the photo is from!) :) I'm really excited to run again. I think Im going to do the Couch to 5k program again. I mean I can run 5k as of right now but with the extra weight I am carrying to makes it hard on my knees! Im optomistic and hopeful and excited! :)
IM BACK!
The first step in learning how to love yourself is to talk to yourself and treat yourself the way you do to the ones you hold dearest.
You won’t love yourself when you reach a certain weight, make a certain amount of money or befriend certain people. Just like happiness, it doesn’t happen when you reach a goal or “destination”, it happens from within.
Sure, losing weight and looking fabulous can make you happy temporarily, but it’ll leave just as fast as it came.
My tips for self love: • talk to yourself like you love yourself • do thing that actually make YOU happy • prioritize your happiness over the happiness of others. If you’re struggling, you can’t help others. • say daily affirmations (sounds cheesy, I know, but it works) • if you’re struggling with body image, tell yourself the things you love about yourself that don’t pertain to your physical appearance (everyone should do this regardless) • be kind to yourself. You’re not a perfect person and you will never be a perfect person because we are all humans and humans make mistakes…like a lot of them. Just aim to be better than you were a week, month or year ago!
I'm getting back on the fitness bandwagon so I made some measurements/weight trackers!

My vegetable garden is doing so well! Yeah! :D
So I bought a kitchen scale yesterday and decided to give it a go. I wanted to eat the crumbs of the bottom of this bag and I guessed it was going to be about half a serving. Weighed I out and it's a full serving! Wow! This will really help with me guestimating my portion sizes!
