Ok so, first of all sorry for taking this random picture (you can find the link to the page I took it from here). But... yeah, I just wanted to share with you this cutie <3 hahah.
Anyways, this tumblr for me was meant to be a place to share my favorite songs and if it was possible, to post some audios where I could share with you some anecdotes (that’s why I call it a podcast site)... I’m not sure how that’s gonna go, but until I feel confident enough -and also until I start getting any kind of following (heheh oops)-... I would like to write stuff for you like this.
I’m a graduate student from High School, that didn’t know what to do with her life (about career matters)... So, I took a year from studying and dedicated it to focus on... Well, find out which is my dream career basically.
I’m not gonna lie... it was freaking difficult to find that out!
Along the way I started to discover more about myself. Stuff that I care of or I’m interested about -that I’ve never realized until now- , what kind of goals I want for my life, where am I gonna live?...
These kind of questions can be really challenging and scary -sure it was for me- but believe me, if you keep questioning yourself, while you try to visualize your dream future... Eventually everything will start to make sense. And that’s because you will start having an idea of what area are you more interested in, which kind of place you want to be your workplace (and that will give you a clue about jobs that have that kind of environment), etc.
So, if you are in a place like me, don’t worry! You have time and you make your own time...
Not everyone in this world keeps the same track when they start studying or finishing it!...And this happens with any other matter in life.
Aside from that motivational speech, heheh... Yeah, I’m someone who really likes to share experiences and to give advice to anyone who needs it. Maybe it can be obvious for everyone that maybe I’m meant to be a therapist... and of course that makes sense, but I never realized that I tended to do that, and that I liked it. It can sound kind of silly, but I’ve never contemplated that possibility- and when it did cross my mind I automatically discarded it, because I used to think that it was strenous-... but, I was wrong.
I’ve always had this idea of making like “TED talks” sharing my wisdom hahah... (please don’t laugh at me, I have dreams xD) To talk about people’s behavior and why are they like that. What to do with certain illnesses and how to improve their treatment... and because of this last thing I thought that maybe medic school was my best choice. But, something was missing for me.
And that was dealing with people more personally... more of a human factor i believe describes it better...
Curing diseases is great- don’t get me wrong- but, you can’t take them into a more personal level, they are just a pacient. And yes, therapists shouldn’t take their job that personal either, because it can be damaging for both of them... but you help your pacients discover themselves and to find the answers by their own and try to make them feel in a good place mentally, with therapy (which is not the same with a Psychiatrist, at least for me).
