what was the inspiration behind strangers? i can’t stop thinking about it ever since i really paid attention to the lyrics and now im like :0

idk if this makes sense but the sound of my window ac unit inspired that song . i was trying to capture the way it felt and smelled to have the window unit on full blast on a really hot day in june. i was also on a serial killer kick, i wrote strangers the same month i wrote vacancy.

Penn Hills had a famous wedding bell-shaped outdoor pool located in between many of the guest suites. Directly behind it was a quaint gazebo. Today, the pool still exists and is full of gross stagnant water. Most of the poolside lounge chairs have been thrown into the pool, as have several of Penn Hills' famous heart shaped whirlpool tubs
