she climbed the last mile with trepidation, of what was to come, of what she would see. she was scared, but she was filled with a sense of hope and faith.

she would win.

her knees were scratched from the hard rocks and brambles that dotted the difficult terrain. her hands were sore from clutching at supports as she dragged herself up to the crest of the hill. she was tired, but she would keep going.

she would survive.

her life had been a battle – a pointless war against her own self. there were times when she felt her demons winning, when she felt herself plummeting down the treacherous heights, but she always rose from the darkness.

she would rise.

she could see the amber light from the sun peeking out from behind the dark rock of the mountain. the light pricked her eyes, but they were beautiful rays of hope that warmed her heart. a warm breeze caressed her skin, whispering in her ear, it would be alright.

she would heal.

her legs buckled with tiredness, and she landed on the sharp gravel. no, she could not continue. she would die. she was parched, she was tired, but she was so close. slowly, she picked herself up.

she would not accept defeat.

and suddenly, there it was, the new dawn, her new home, all beneath her feet as she stood where she belonged – on the top of the world. pride filled her heart and she did not care for her wounds, for her tears.

she was invincible.

oh my god thank you so much! i hadn’t originally planned to release the theme, since it was supposed to be a custom theme for my blog but i might release it in a few weeks after i’ve made it user friendly and stuff. tysm!!!
