Ian spots it while he's angry-watching TV lying on the couch and Mickey is walking towards the kitchen all non-chalant. He knows Mickey's playing him and he hates himself because fuck, it works.

like ian’s just sitting on the couch with his arms crossed, staring at the screen like 😠 and out of the corner of his eye he spots mickey wearing that fucking tank top with the obvious shape of a ring on his chest and internally ian’s like “no. not this time. i’m not gonna fall for it this time.”

but then mickey appears in front of him and climbs into his lap, ian’s hands finding his ass against his will and mickey just gives him a shit eating grin and is like, “you still mad?”

“yes”

“you’re really gonna throw a hissy fit over some towels?”

“this isn’t a fucking hotel, mick. you gotta do that shit or they’ll never dry.”

mickey rolls his eyes as he peels off his shirt and ian has to literally clench every muscle in his body to avoid looking down at his chest. he’s not gonna let mickey and that tiny little piece of metal win.

but then mickey wraps his arms around ian’s neck and let’s out this hot as fuck little hum, and ian can’t help grabbing him around the waist and throwing him onto the couch, his teeth finding mickey’s piercing almost immediately.
