He'd never seen him under bright lights like that before. It made Mickey self-conscious. He stood to his full height, looking Ian straight in the eye, puffing out his chest. "Y'think I'm ugly?" he said, as if challenging Ian to say yes so they could bash it out once and for all. Ian shook his head, reaching out to touch the scars but Mickey snatched his wrist midair. Ian sought out his eyes. "No," he said, waiting for Mickey to relax his grip on him before gently setting his palm to his chest. "No, I think you're alive." - @ian-galagher
