Ch 301 was so crazy for this.

Kaiser makes me so sad some times. While I always thought his backstory was depicted as cartoonishly terrible and sad, I always felt how the abuse was written to affect how he felt about himself and approached life was incredibly realistic. Ness too, but slightly to the left.

The new chapter did Kainess so good, although the hints were there of Ness being the one who will help Kaiser heal i didn’t think Kaneshiro would give them such a raw moment as a set up. Was really pleasantly surprised.

P.S It wouldn’t shock me if Kainess would be implied canon in case there will be a big timeskip into the future
