Frei's Character Profile Template × [Draft #3]
⤿ Welcome, here's the Frei's Character Profile Template (CharTemp) Introduction!
CharTemp is a very detailed template for Original Characters, It's basically like creating a real person rather than a character, which I love.
It has an intensive amount of detail put into it & with quality ofc!! and there might even be details included that you hadn't thought of before for your characters.
It's also very customizable; you can remove and add anything you'd like. The template is neutral so that the character's tone isn't overshadowed by one that doesn't match them, and it offers aesthetic guidance in idea form for easy setup. The POV is written from a third-person omniscient perspective, so it reflects the truth about the character rather than how others might perceive them :3
Every section can be removed, custom sections are already supported, and there will be an NSFW section as well. I also plan to make less detailed versions for animal companions and side characters once the main one is complete.
Software: The software I currently use for it is Obsidian with Plugins—But I'll probably switch to a better software if I get the chance. (In the pic it's not obsidian I just needed a better pic 😭)
Share it? Uhmm honestly idk if I'll share it yet, it's very customized to my Universe/Characters and there aren't many people who are as obessed w detail of their OC's as me T_T For me they're like real people so I want to give them every detail I can. But If someone is interested I probably will be very happy to share it!
Current Progress: Maybe around 17% Done? I'll try my best to finish it timely and put in effort ofc. I already had a few versions sometime ago, those where 6.000 words, I'll just double it to 12.000 wrds as a measurement.

Just image it with your OC's Information and visuals... Obsidian is a bit limited if I'm honest but it's still customisable.
I'll include an Information sheet that comes with the CharTemp, so if you don't understand what something means you can look it up there.

My Current goal that im working on is to finish the basic Info for Personality and add detail (Yes I'm fking slow okay T-T)
The way I will go about the Project is focusing on 1 header section until I have it finished and then move onto the next.
Right now I'm moving in a line but I'll probs jump from Basic Info to some Appearance stuff later.
I lowkey find it easier to work on stuff if I jump into a topic that I didn't plan to do before deciding on it. Wtf kind of gibberish 😭 IM NOT NATIVE PLS

& Much more — It's a bit messy, theres more but yeahh... alot of stuff is custom but it makes sense i promise. I prefer to keep stuff packed w visuals but I also like it when it's not overwhelming or messy?? Idk just an observation :p
