i actually want to talk about this

in the manga we can see his size relative to nnoitra, who is 7'. according to this height comparison tool im using, and the fact that nnoitra is slouching, if we assume that nnoitra's heigh is accurately 7' (which i feel like is accurate, maybe even low balling it) then 5'6" is potentially accurate for ulquiorra, if not a little generous, i think he looks more like 5'5".

however in the anime, he is significantly shorter for some reason. im assuming due to the camera angle, but they look exactly the same, it doesnt look like we are looking at them from higher up at all. in the anime he looks closer to 5' if we are measuring him in vertical nnoitras, which is a pretty accurate unit of measurement i think.

as someone who is 5' in real life i can confirm that everyone on earth talks to me like this ^^

(however i feel like his height in the anime would be different if we were measuring him in vertical orihimes)

im going back through my bleach art from TEN YEARS AGO, intending to delete all these old posts, but instead its making me so happy like...i was so happy back then. also....not as bad as i remember. this was before mental illness and art school ruined me and made me hate making art. its so wholesome. i was just a baby. i wish i could go back to the time when my brain was so full of ideas that i didn't quite have the skills to accomplish but i tried anyway and art was fun and now art is a chore and i never have any ideas and all i care about is getting notes instead of just drawing for the fun of it.
