I finally wrote a one-shot :)
"What.. is all this?" She blinked looking around the boiler room. A bunch of shrinkers were walking around, typing on computers, or frantically walking around handing each other papers. She cleared her throat just as she felt Beetlejuice's arm draped around her shoulders.
"This is my work, honey. I started a buisness, this is where the magic happens! Welcome to my office, Lyds!" He exclaimed extending his arms out dramatically while the ALL of the shrinkers at the same time froze, stopped working just to stare then skedaddled back to work after he glared.
Of course he would show her what he's made for himself. He did it for her. To show her he could provide for her, become a better man. His goal was to be husband material. Besides he loves just showing off, wanting that good ol ego stroke.
One of the shrinkers was running around and accidentally bumped into Lydia making her gasp. Beetlejuice was quick to reach out moving her closer to him while he shot that shrinker a death glare.
"Do they have names..?" She asked feeling his hands rub along her arms, her back pressed against his front. He felt guilty his worker carelessly bumped into her. He'll be having a word with that one later.
"Uh--Sure, sure, sure.. Well over there, we got... Bob 2.0, Bobby, Bobster, Bob 3.0, Bo-- Shit, these fuckers gotta start wearing their damn name tags...Oh and we have Bob! Bob!" He shouted as the shrinker wearing a suit and tie walked over with a name tag smacked right on his chest with BOB written on it in red sharpie.
"Hi, Bob. I'm Lydia." she smiled. Bob just stared at her and she began to feel uneasy as she turned to Beetlejuice who now leaned forward his hands on her shoulders, their cheeks nearly touching. "Do they speak..?" She whispered while making eye contact with Bob. His mouth was sewed shut, so maybe he couldn't..?
Beetlejuice gave her shoulders a squeeze and snickered. He whispered, "He's just a lil nervous is all. A beautiful woman is talkin' to him. He ain't used to it." Bob waved before walking back to his desk to work. "He's the best worker I got. I've been thinkin' of makin him manager."
Lydia watched as Bob waddled over, planting his ass down on his chair nearly knocking over his stack of papers. She chuckled spinning around in the ghost's arms meeting his blue eyes with a warm smile.
"You did well, Beej. All this, your buisness? It's amazing. You should be proud."
She watched as Beetlejuice's eyes lit up with excitement. His heart nearly soring for the clouds. He was so happy for a dead guy, it would make the next guy jealous. He couldn't help but flash his disgusting teeth in her direction, his smile stretching wide as he leaned in.
"God.. Lyds. Hearing that come from you, makes me the happiest dead guy in the afterlife." He whispered softly, his cold breath tickling her ear. She leaned in closer. Arms wrapping securely around his neck as she drawn him even closer. Her soft warm lips pressing against his dead skin, lightly kissing his cheek.
"You had a date night planned?" Lydia asked softly, shifting to flutter her long dark eyelashes up at this yearning dead man. The way she was looking at him made him dumb and weak at the legs. His mind stopped working and the time around him paused. Hell, he could have sworn he felt his heart beat come back. This woman in his arms made him feel alive. The way she looked at him made him feel wanted.
"Oh honey, I'll be giving ya the best damn night of your life!" He announced happily with his deep gravelly voice. He pressed in close, his head dipped to the side gently touching his lips against hers. His eyes never leaving her beautiful face. The ghost was far too busy soaking it up, every inch of her. Her smile matching his lopsided goofy smile Lydia fell in love with.
"You say that every date night."
"And I have yet to disappoint you?" His eyes brow quirked and his lips curled in a knowing grin. That same look that made Lydia press her thighs together.
"Mm.. You know how to make a woman happy. It's like you one up every date night you plan. I'm blown away every time." She leaned in, tugging him even closer by the tie and kissed Beetlejuice softly. Who then melted in their embrace dramatically, deepening their kiss.
