Grocery stores can be hard to track down. I tend to look for big buildings with vegetables painted on the side wall. Sometime fruit. It's rare, but it may even be a steak painted there. I'm Milo.

I visited Mom for a little bit. And then I kind of got hit with the saddies. So that's pretty sucky, but I'll live. What's new in town?

Lights, Camera, Actually We Should Write It First || Milo and Daniel

"Well with me, life is always new and interesting." The director told the author with a small smirk. He stepped back, soon closing the door. He turned back and smiled at Milo at his comment. He shook his head and rolled his eyes. "If it were any smaller it might as well be a refrigerator box." He told him before he led the man into the kitchen. He poured them both a cup of coffee and glanced up. "Cream? Sugar?" He asked with a raised brow.

Soon they were sitting at the small table on the covered back porch. It looked out over the woods. Just above them was the balcony that hung off of his bedroom. “The humor…well…I had the humor there for the people outside of the main character. The opening shot is the funeral and I feel like he would be trying to put himself out there to show he didn’t really need all that help. But I agree with the empty comment.” He took the script and looked it over, reaching for a pen and crossing some things out and looking up to the boy again. “We could do…a similar opening. The lead being a bit more…quiet about things. Supporting characters from the rest of the film there as funeral go-ers. Everyone leaves and it’s just a moment with him there, at the grave before breaking down…then we can go right into a flashback of them meeting?”

"That sounds... a lot better actually." Milo said. He looked out onto Daniel's back yard. "I have to ask, because, like I said, casting is important to me. Are you thinking of getting younger actors to play the younger versions of Jason and the lead? Like for the high school scenes. Or are you just going to try and find actors that will look like they could be either 30 or 15 at any given moment? That takes talent. Looking young and old. I am impressed by people who can do that." Milo looked down at his feet and he waited for Daniel to reply.

He thought back to that first meeting, as it actually happened. Milo was just sitting in the hallway of his school, looking over notes for an AP US history test, when Jason just walked over to him and looked down at him. Milo asked what Jason was doing and Jason didn't reply as much as just sit down next to Milo and start talking to him. They talked about school, about movies, about books, and eventually about the gay thing. Jason came out to Milo and asked if Milo would support him. Of course Milo said yes, and from there on they were together. They were inseparable. They were in love. Milo just hoped that Daniel could get that feeling right in his movie.

I thought it was that, but then I swear the guy started flirting with me. Which was…unexpected. I thought he was going to slip me his number at one point. Hell, I can’t complain about the job getting boring, I guess.

Yeah, that part's a little on the strange side. Would that be like incest? I mean technically no, but a little bit? Like to him maybe. I'm going to stop thinking about that.

Some guy at work just told me I had “eyes that reminded him of his dead son”.

I don’t know whether that’s a compliment, or whether to be freaked out.

I think compliment. It's a little weird, sure, but it probably came from a good place. He was probably all shook up with you reminding him of his son. It happens with me when I meet people who remind me of Jason.

Oh, really? Damn. Those things are proving pretty popular this year. Do you have any idea who might have sent it?

I have no clue. I thought I had a clue, but they said my guesses were off, so I suppose not. Unless they were lying. Which would make me even more confused as to who it is.

That doesn’t sound like the worst day ever. Add candy hearts and a few good movies to that list, and you’ve got the best single Valentine’s Day ever.

Are you doing okay, man?

I've already got a few movies lined up. John Hughes here I come!

I'm doing well. Can't really complain. Plus I got a secret admirer note and that keeps me intrigued.
