He was moving quickly, before she even realized he was, and missed if heâd actually followed what sheâd read. A pang of annoyance, not knowing if it was done correctly, and she decided she would simply wash her hands of it.
âNo, thatâs alright. You seem to know what youâre doing now, feel free to just keep going. I can watch.â  She figured, if he messed it up, it would be a learning experience, and she could at least point a finger in his direction. Far better to take the blame of not having participated, than to let it seem she didnât know what she was doing.
She looked back to the directions, leaving him to continue, glancing over to the table next to them to gauge where they might be in the task in comparison.
Milo sighed, working until the point in which she had stopped reading the directions. His work was done well, this wasnât the first time heâd made a potion or followed complicated instructions that had only been read once.
âDo you mind reading the rest?â He said, hoping she wouldnât ask why. It was annoying to have to work with someone who clearly thought he was an idiot. He didnât want to admit this major weakness to her either.
He glanced over at her, frowning as she watched the other table, âAre they doing something different?â
