Trying my hand at jar magic today!!! I just received some flowers from graduation and though why not make things witchy. Today’s main ingredients are peony flowers. Their petals are said to promote good luck, good fortune, prosperity, and business success. I used the petals, pollen, and leafs in this spell.
✨: Glass jar with cork (or any container you desire)
✨: Peony petals, leafs, and pollen
✨: Gold beads, confetti, or anything really (optional)
✨: Paper and string for Sigil
✨: Sparker/Flint & Steel/ or a flame (CAREFUL WITH FIRE GUYS)
I bought my jars at the dollerama and they were super cheap (I have another 2 for other spells). I always loved jars like these with corks but if you prefer to use another container go for it.
I used a “puddle” of pollen that had gathered on the peony petals. I shifted it into the jar. I also pulled a few petals and leaves from the flowers and put them in the jar.
Adding a few little gold tokens. These are not nessecary but I used them as a representation of good fortune. (Also I’m crazy for shiny stuff and aesthetics)!!!.
Finally I added a sigil for beauty, good luck and fortune. I use this one mainly for beauty but I thought this is the best sigil for me to use. You can create or use other sigils if you want!! After tying the sigil into a scroll, I capped the jar and used a little bit of clear nail polish to hold it down.
Using my flint & steel, I created a few sparks to cleanse the jar. The sparks did catch a few pollen specks outside the jar and made little smoke circles which was very surprising.
