Pam let out a soft, small moan once he made his move, he actually was returning the affection ,which of course made her whole body shake in arousal but also fear, not of him but what they were doing. However,she closed her eyes and arched her back just a little, obeying his moves and getting her body as close as she could. Her breathing was already heavy, Pam didn’t wasted any more time and kissed the blonde back, softly enough, her tongue slowly colliding with his. She caressed his soft hair with one hand, the other was placed on his shoulder, pressing gently. Soft moans began to escape without her consent. 

Just hearing Minato calling her name was enough to let loose, she whimpered once he pulled back, and gazed at him with pleasure, smiling a bit for he was making her go crazy with all the kisses he placed on her skin, it felt like nothing before, his lips were so warm, his scent, the way he’d breathe against her skin, he was gentle, careful, but so good that she kept on whimpering, until she could find courage to call his name moaning.

"Minato.. Minato…" 

She stopped, looking directly at the blonde a little scared, but motivated since he hadn’t reject her, but making her taste a little piece of heaven. His words made her smile a little, Pam once again caressed his cheek, she was already too comfortable sitting on his lap, feeling the heat that was already all over the small place they were sharing. Her voice came out weakly, low and soft. 

"I won’t regret this." 

Pam’s hand slowly pushed his head backwards, her lips slowly tracing kisses all over his jawline. “I won’t…” She pressed her lips against his neck sucking just a little, then, her hands moved on to loosen his tie, until she dropped it to the back of the car. “You want me, right? just as much as i’m wanting you..” Pam began to kiss lower, discovering his collarbones and kissing every exposed part of his skin with care. “Mnnnnhhhhhhh!” 

At last, Pam returned to pull his head against hers, giving nothing but a small kiss on the top of his warm lips, and then licked her own lips, maintaining eye contact. “Just.. once.. please…forget about your job, your family… forget about her, just for tonight…you’re not what they want you to be, tonight you’re mine.” Pam took a deep breath, and moved on to slowly move her hips against him, panting every now and then. “Just once, just… once, i promise.” She moaned right against his ear, left hand caressing his hair backwards, meanwhile the other was pressed against the seat they were sharing. Once more Pam’s lips pressed on his skin, making her way down to his neck, only to return and kiss his lips once again, not roughly but rather caring and gentle. Her tongue was already in search of some more of his taste, and so, small moans came out every now and then. 

"It won’t happen again… just tonight…do as you please… with me…"

The soft material gave way as Pam opened up his shirt. The feeling of his silk threaded tie caressing his skin before dropping down to the car floor... Minato found himself relaxing, and looking deeply into Pam's eyes with ease as she repeated herself - no regrets.

He gave no second thought to his obligations as he succumbed to her command, allowing her to place loving kisses along his open skin. Minato groaned weakly as he returned those gentle single second kisses, admiring the hidden boldness that now shone in her eyes. His tongue caressed hers, as a hand found its way up her shirt, trailing its way up the back of Pam's back, admiring the smoothness. He wanted more... Minato took control of the situation, casting everything away as he deepened the kiss. Arms tightening around her body, he moved the both of them, exchanging positions so that she was the one who was lying on the car seat. 

Trailing kisses down the rim of her shirt, Minato reclined the car seat, his other hand roaming the front of her body. "Mmmn..." He gently bit at a spot just above her collar bone, sucking on it as his hand pulled her shirt upwards. Kissing the spot that he had just marked, Minato trailed slow kisses down to her stomach, dipping his tongue into her navel. Letting out a low chuckle, he moved back up to capture her lips, his hands now working on her pants and pulling them down. 

"Open up your legs wider..." Minato breathed into her ear, kissing the corner of her lips as Pam complied. His fingers caressed the clothed folds as he chuckled against her lips, "Mmm... Did you really want me that badly? ...You're drenched..." The blonde tugged at her underwear and slipped his hand inside. His breath hitched as he felt the hot wetness come in contact with his fingers, lips instantly connecting with Pam's. His thumb searched for her pearl, caressing it in a loving circular motion as he found it. His index and middle finger, ran up and down her folds, teasing her hot core.

Minato broke the kiss, a slight smirk lacing his lips as he whispered, "We did park in a public place... You've got to be quiet..." His smirked widened slightly as he placed kisses along the curve of her neck as his two fingers very gently entered her. "Mmm..... So wet..." The blonde chuckled, as he slowly began to move the two fingers in and out, his thumb still pleasuring her pearl. "Shh..." He reminded her as his fingers entered her again, but this time, curling upwards to hit her particular spot.

"I…"

Before Pam realized, she was already in his strong arms, as close as she wished to be, maybe even closer than before. She wasn’t complaining, but the guilt of being like this with a man who was already taken was heavy, it made her feel dirty, it was something she couldn’t explain. However, she took the time to process this, and her arms didn’t wrapped up against him like last time, instead, she remained still, her body was shaking heavily, and the sound of the waves outside filled the moment. 

Her forehead collided with Minato’s chin, his words were something that hurt, he was hurt, scared to do what he wanted over the pressure of things he couldn’t help. She blamed the lack of company or maybe loneliness that was pushing her to search for some kind of warmth, but deep inside she knew she felt attracted to the man who was holding her so tenderly, as if she was some kind of treasure. It wasn’t loneliness, no, it wasn’t lack of somebody to love, it was him, she was sure it was the way he’d look, the way he behaved and the way he smiled, everything about him made her so tempted to forget about the woman who was waiting for him back home, and take him away, but she couldn’t.

She sighed, breathed in and out again deeply, until she couldn’t help it anymore. Pam looked up at Minato and her hands, slowly began to cling onto him, with fear but also in search of comforting him as best as she could. “Then, why are you accepting a fate that you don’t want.” She whispered, her eyes desperately longed for that smile of his, then, Pam proceeded to move on a much more comfortable position, slowly and gently sitting on his lap. “I’m not… sad… for me… i think…” She couldn’t stop shaking scared.

"We just met, today, and… i’m already all over you.. i… don’t know what to do, how to look at you in the eye and tell you i’m sorry… i’m sorry for being weak and giving in so quickly.. you probably think i’m an easy woman…"

With that being said, Pam looked down again, with guilt all over her, but desire to get to know everything about him, simply that.

"But, even if you were to think so, i can’t… let go… why can’t i… let go…i’m… "

"I… don’t want you to end up like that either, you can get so much more… but, i can’t do anything about it, right? so, for now, please stay, at least, once, i want you to be who you truly are, with me.. i won’t force you, i won’t tell you what to do… do as you please… with me…"

For the first time of her life, Pam didn’t knew what was happening, she only knew it was him, the reason why she was being so carefree. “Come on..” She murmured as she didn’t think about it twice, her lips once again touched his skin, trailing kisses all over his chin, her arms pulling him closer with fervour.

The moment Pam's lips touched his once more he felt the gates that had been holding him back crash open. Minato groaned weakly and hugged her closely, his hands roaming around her back whilst pushing her closer to himself. He let out a shaky breath as his hand caressed her cheek, the other stroking her hair as she trailed kisses along his face. "Pam..." Minato whispered hoarsely as he met her eyes before finally stepping through the final line and leaned in, pressing his lips against hers. The blonde felt a shudder go through his body as he flicked his tongue across her bottom lip, a broken growl emitting from his throat as he tasted that wonderous scent of strawberry.

The enticing sweetness captured him more than he thought it would. Minato's hand kept it's place at the base of her head, pulling her closer as his lips moved against hers. He was entranced just with Pam sitting across his lap, those petal lips, so gently caressing his own.

'Do as you please...' 

He deepened the kiss, somewhat experimental as Minato himself didn't know where Pam's own boarders were. Even though she had given permission, he didn't want to do something that she wasn't comfortable with. However, it didn't help with the fact that they were in his car - such an enclosed and trapped place, where all that he could smell and feel was her beautiful scent and her burning skin against his own. Minato panted weakly, his breath hitching as he tasted her. Thumb carelessly brushing against her cheek, he let his tongue roam her mouth, tracing the unexplored caverns as he let out yet another moan. The curve of her body fitted his like a warm puzzle as he gently nibbled on her bottom lip, delighting himself in a whimpered pant coming from her.

Pulling away with his breath quickened, Minato pressed his forehead against hers, "Pam..." He breathed out before leaving a feathered trail of kisses down the side of her face, moaning out her name weakly after each one. The tip of his nose traced the curve of her neck as he shuddered when he breathed in deeply.

A gentle kiss just below her ear. "Pam..."

Another on the curve of her neck. 

"Pam..." Minato whispered as he placed yet another kiss on her collar bone before moving back up, taking in those plump lips as he held her face like a fragile beautiful being. "...Pam..." He panted once more, gazing at her. "...I... I don't want to do something you might regret......"

A slight sense of sadness made Pam go back to reality, she didn’t wanted to go home, of course, but she didn’t wanted to cause him trouble with his wife to be. She couldn’t recall how they ended up being so close to each other, but it felt safe. When she realized Minato was carrying her back, she didn’t say a word either, she just found herself looking down and holding him close, she’d die to get closer, she thought for a moment, but she’d never do that at all. 

After heading back to Minato’s car, Pam made herself comfortable although it was awkward for her to see him gently cleaning her feet, and her wounds like he somehow enjoyed it, but all the time she’d stare at him with a small smile, slightly embarrassed but enjoying the warmth of his hands, she felt protected, and that made her a bit happy. 

"Ouch…" Was her only complain, cause all the time he spent taking care of an injure he wasn’t responsible for, she’d forget the pain she felt, no matter how little it was. Her only uneasy feeling was him talking about her, although, his response surprised her, he didn’t look like a man who’d marry a woman just for money or pure business, maybe he was more greedy than he looked, or maybe it wasn’t him, but his family. 

Why are you telling me this….

No matter how much she tried to ignore it, he’d spoke so freely about it, although he didn’t look so content, but she didn’t wanted to know, otherwise, she’d find herself doing things she’d never think about doing. But he just said he trusted her, which made things easier for him , but awkward for her. “I see.”

She looked down at her lap, her hands entwined together, Pam bit her lower lip slightly, thinking how to reply to him. “Well, i guess.. with time if you really try, you can develop some kind of feelings for her, right? its not like that can’t happen, besides, i’m sure she’s been chosen for a reason, she must be kind, gorgeous, intelligent and maybe even a trophy wife, so..”

Pam decided to look at him, and she gave him a sincere smile, and then went back to look away from him once more. 

"If you’ve chosen to marry her, even if you don’t love her, there must be something really important for you to do so, right? i just… mean, i hope you find happiness." 

Pam took a deep breath, not sure of what to do next, her hand slowly and instinctively moved towards him, caressing his left cheek with care, as she once more met his gaze. “That aside, thank you , for trusting me, and taking care of me tonight. It’s the first time in a while that i’ve felt alive.” 

"Although…"

And with that, Pam began getting closer, she didn’t knew how she got the courage to do so, but she did it anyway, she knew she’d regret it later, but her heart knew no limits. Her strawberry lips began getting closer to him, Pam removed her hand, and then, closed her eyes, pressing her lips against his cheek, although slightly touching the edge of his warm lips. His skin was warm like she imagined it to be, she pressed a little bit more, and then removed herself, back to her initial position.

"Although.." She looked down again, and then smiled to herself again.

"Even if you don’t love each other, you can’t keep her waiting, marriage is marriage, so… please don’t make her sad, for i wouldn’t want someone to make me sad either."

She didn’t knew what to say anymore, she didn’t regret being here with him, but she felt bad for the one who was waiting for him to go back home.

"I’m sorry, i shouldn’t have done that.."

"I believe that everyone is kind, beautiful and intelligent in their own way Pam." Minato smiled gently at her attempts in making him see his problems in a positive way, "While she would make the perfect trophy wife... It's not what I want." The blonde proceeded to sigh again, but was caught off guard when Pam's hand touched his cheek in the most gentlest way ever.

Minato's eyes softened at her gentle words, and immediately found his hand on top of hers, which was caressing his cheek. His thumb drew comforting circles on the back of her hand.

'It's the first time in a while that I've felt alive...' 

Pam's words echoed in his mind, making him really think as to when he last did something important, just because he wanted to, and not because he was ordered to, or for the sake of something. He stumbled over his breath as she leaned in and kissed his cheek so tenderly, Minato inhaled, hoping to calm himself, but instead cursed the gods. Her soft, full lips were barely touching the corner of his own, but the heavy scent of strawberry had filled his lungs and made him dig the fingers of his other hand into his palm to stop himself from doing something against her will. 

He missed the warmth of her body pressing up against his own, like back at the beach. He found himself missing the soft gentle caressing of her hand against his cheek. He missed the feeling of petal-like lips pressing against the corner of his lips. Minato stared at her figure, refusing to let go of the hand that he held on to previously, even though she wasn't looking at him now, probably due to shyness. 

She was comparing herself to Danielle - was she trying to make him feel guilty for staying out late? 

The blonde shook his head, denying her apology with his lips still parted in slight awe from her actions. "Pam..." Minato started, but found his voice ragged and broken. "Pam... It's... It's an arranged marriage... I don't want to do what my parents want me to do... Our company is fine the way it is, yet they still insist on wanting to improve it..." For once, he was arguing against his parent's wishes. The guilt was heavy, but the burden seemed to be freeing him as he continued to talk. "Danielle won't be sad... She's like a puppet... She'll never do what she wants to do, and I don't want to end up like that...!" Minato pulled her in close and wrapped his arms around her body once more, finding the lack of her heat unbearable. He muttered after breathing in deeply of that delicious scent, "If I marry... I want to marry someone that I love..... I don't want Danielle to be sad... I don't want myself to be sad... But above all... I..." Minato let out shaky breath and gazed into her eyes before whispering, "... I don't want you to be sad..."

"Partners in.. in…"

She really didn’t knew how to respond or act when he was too close, she wasn’t complaining about that, but it was making her flustered, which she truly wondered why, even though she was a shy girl, it wasn’t to this extent.

"In sweets.!" Was her weak reply, her voice became lower, and even shaky. "You can… trust me as well, i’m willing to trust an old man, so why shouldn’t you trust someone like me.."

In all, Pam never expected tonight to be so full of surprises, but they were all thanks to the blonde who’s personality was like a miracle brought upon her, a rather boring girl, maybe she felt this way because of her lack of interaction with people these past months, and he was being kind to her, when everyone else were rude or oblivious to her.

Pam laughed nervously, Minato truly didn’t knew a thing, if he wanted to get out alive her baking, he might as well run fast. “My baking isn’t so good… but… i can show you.. and we can … try it… next time.” that was a yes, get it? She laughed to herself at her positive response, definitely, she wanted to see him again. 

Pam’s smile went away of course, she realized too late that her last question wasn’t something he felt good about, so right away, she felt guilty, frowning and looking down. “Ah….!”

He has a fiancé…

"Is that so? then… ah, i’m sorry i didn’t meant to make you feel uncomfortable.."

Her attempts at comforting others were plain stupid, she thought to herself, actually the way he was acting when mentioning her was alarming, but he was going to marry her for something, right? you can’t marry people who you don’t really like….

"Ah! well i guess all couples have… these kinds of situations, right? i mean, you both… must love each other so much to remain together if you disagree so much! i admire that, i hope you both can overcome them! and… yeah, congratulations, for your marriage.!"

Of course, that made Pam kind of sad, then again she wasn’t going to say anything else on the matter, instead, she tried once again to cheer him up, getting close to him once again, but this time, Pam wasn’t really paying attention properly, her toes slipped, and she could only scream as her body was about to collapse against the waves.

Pam closed her eyes tightly, with her heart beating really fast, although, when she opened her eyes, she realized she was hugging the blonde as tight as she could, her body was shaking in fear and then, she pressed her head against his chest, being able to sense the smell of his cologne.

She didn’t say a word, until her widened eyes met Minato’s, Pam nodded only, staring into his blue hues, she wasn’t feeling nervous, rather relieved, she felt safe in his arms."Thank you. I’m okay" Was her response.

Slowly, she realized she was holding onto him too tight, so she loosened her grip, but honestly, she didn’t wanted to let go of him, for now. “I was too careless, i- i’m really sorry!” Her shaky, rather childish tone revealed she was scared, but also really glad he was there. It wasn’t a lie, she could trust him after all.

"I- think…"

She looked down, burying her face on his chest again. 

"We should go home.. i mean, ladies hate when men keep them waiting, especially, the man they love."

Hearing her shaking voice, Minato brought Pam back into his arms, rubbing his hand up and down her back trying to calm her down. It was just comfortable having her in his arms. The blonde found it soothing feeling her warmth through his dress shirt. The calmingly sweet aroma of strawberry that Minato could smell seemed to wash away his worries, somehow assuring him that things were going to be alright. When she mentioned of going home however, the blonde felt his heart drop. It only felt like they had just gotten to the beach, and had only just started opening up to each other. Why must good things end so quickly...? Minato bit his lip as he stared back down into her eyes with worry. 

Danielle didn't love him. And he didn't love her back either. It was true that this whole relationship between the two of them was just a partnership in terms of status and for business, nothing more. Sighing and giving Pam a small smile, he nodded. "I don't want you getting hurt anymore anyways." 

Keeping an arm behind her back, Minato bent down slightly so his other arm touched the back of Pam's knees. In a swift manner, he lifted her up, giving her a comforting smile. "Your feet probably hurt right? Just let me carry you until back to the car, and I'll have a look." Minato didn't say much on the way back, as he felt responsible, and even guilty that Pam was hurt because of him. The least that he could do was to take her to the nearby private hospital if things looked bad. He chuckled weakly, "I did say that if you were to get sick I'd be responsible."

After settling Pam onto the car seat without dropping her, he headed to the back of his car and retrieved an unopened bottle of distilled water along with a small compact first aid kit. "I'm not a doctor, but I know my first aid stuff." He laughed slightly as he carefully inspected her foot, "Mmm... There's a small cut... thankfully it's not deep. But I'm going to clean it and put a band aid on it just in case alright?" Minato used the bottled water to wash off all the sand off her foot, before reaching for a antiseptic wipe -  "This might sting just a little...", and wiped her cut before applying a band aid. "There, all done." He smiled at her before starting to wipe off the excess sand from both of Pam's feet.

"I might as well tell you the rest while we're at it..." Minato surprised himself as he blurted out those few words, concentrating on wiping the sand, instead of looking at her. "It's an arranged marriage. For the company and the business. Like I said, it's a partnership... not a relationship." The blonde closed finished wiping her feet from the sand and helped closed that side of the car door, before sitting back in his car seat. He sighed in a fatigued manner. "...I don't know why I'm telling you this, Pam..." He muttered and turned to look at her with tired eyes. He knew that if this information was leaked out to anywhere, it wouldn't be good news for either of his family or Danielle's. Minato smiled weakly, "I just... Find myself trusting you."

Pam followed him right away, after taking off her sandals, catching up to  him, of course he had to mention what great things she had accomplished, but it wasn’t that simple, when everyone you ever loved were against your decisions. 

"Of course i’m proud of myself ya know?" Her cheeks puffed meanwhile she glared at him. "I worked really hard to be here, but my parents didn’t want me to leave, so they haven’t contacted me ever since i left home…" Her smile faded away, honestly that was something that didn’t let her fully enjoy her new life, but she wouldn’t allow them to keep her in a place she didn’t want to be. Her brows furrowed, instead of looking at the handsome man beside her, Pam looked down. "Everyone turned their back on me, my parents and my brothers, hell, even the guy i thought i could trust the most, ya know? but that aside, i’m proud and doing what i like the most, and someday i’ll do a family of my own, and i’m sure i will never regret being here." 

Minato’s gestures caught her off guard, of course, but they only made her slowly like him more, her smile once again was all because of him, but then again she could tell he was a gentleman, and that was about it. “Of course! if i catch a cold its only fair you take care of me afterwards, i wouldn’t let you escape!!” She beamed, looking at him and slowly winking at the man. The nerve he had to make her blush was something else though.

"O- of course not… i mean, w- we can be partners or… yeah…friends." Nervousness was taking over her again, this man had charm, and of course his smile didn’t help either, it only made her want to scream right then.

"Hmm… Namikaze Minato, 29 years old, Law Firm that’s close to my work place, fine, now i know were to send my medic after i get sick tonight." She gave him another smile, her left hand poked on his arm.

"See? you’re not that old, and you have everything it takes to be happy, success, youth, good looks… but you still miss something, Lemon Ice-cream.."

The speech that followed was even worst, Pam tried to hide her embarrassment under the moonlight, feeling her cheeks warm.

"I didn’t do a thing, i just sold it to you! besides it would have been more special if i have bake those for you— NOT LIKE I WANTED TO BAKE FOR YOU OF COURSE! I’M JUST SAYING."

If she had one wish at that moment, she would ask to disappear right away…

She tried to calm down, for she didn’t wanted him to have bad thoughts on her after their first meeting.

"T- then, after you’ve told me this, i guess its only fair for me to say something too?"

"My name is Pam, i’m 22 and i like the places Minato takes me too, and maybe his smile too."

At that exact moment, Pam looked up and pushed her hair in front of her face, walking closer to the water, to let her relax. 

"I’m glad you like it… THE BREAD, THAT IS! oh— you weren’t really going to eat plain bread, right? then, why would you take plain bread instead?"

Minato wasn't all that surprised when he learnt that Pam's parents disapproved of what she had chosen to do in terms of studies. What he didn't like further on, was their lack of contact, and everyone around her not putting in faith and trust into this girl and her dreams. Well, at least her parents didn't force her to do what they want her to do... Minato thought, before giving her a weak smile. "If anything, you can trust in this old man." He continued to joke, "It might not be much, but I'm more than willing to listen to you, Pam. And I tell you what, you're going to be really happy when they find out just how successful you are with your studies." The blonde grinned, and instinctively found his hand ruffling her hair slightly. 

Quickly taking it away, he continued walking, not wanting to over-fluster the already blushing girl. "If you do get sick though, do let me know." Minato turned back, laughing at her next words, "Partners hm? What sort of partners would you like to be?" He winked at hear, admiring the way that she would go all flustered and half attempt to cover her face with either her hands or her hair.  "Lemon icecream??" Minato questioned her as soon as she brought it up. "I've never heard of that... But it sounds wonderful. You'll have to tell me where to get it, Pam. And... maybe we can go next time together...?" He asked, full of hope for a positive response. However, he ignored the part about having everything and being happy. It might be trivial, and unnecessary for a rich guy to be complaining, but no matter how 'happy' he is, he'd still have that problem to look at. Minato shook his thoughts away, promising himself to focus on Pam and only Pam tonight. With a slightly weaker smile, he responded. "I'd love to taste your baking one day, Pam... If... If that's okay with you of course..."

But, as much as Minato wanted to forget about his troubles, Pam brought it up for him to remember. He couldn't blame her of course, it was just natural curiosity. Besides, he did say back at the bakery that he preferred basically anything but plain bread. Running his hand through his hair, Minato scanned the night sky briefly before sighing and looking back at her again. Pam herself had been honest with him in explaining why she was unhappy with her choice of studies, so he might as well at least tell her this much. "Hm. Well... My fiancé is rather strict when it comes to... well, everything I suppose." He laughed dryly, finding himself scared to meet her gaze and looked down at the waves lapping on to the damp sand. "She thinks that wealth, title and image is everything. And we don't have a lot of things that we agree on."

"Instead of being what soon-to-be married couples are like, it's more like... a partnership, you can say." It's... Suffocating... Minato bit down on his bottom lip, unable to say those words only because of the way that he was brought up - respect others, be the gentleman, maintain your status. The blonde was about to continue, but as Pam started walking towards him, the waves and the small shells had caused her to slip. Thanking his fast reflexes, he managed to catch her, right before she had fallen into the waves behind them. Minato's strong arms wrapped around her frame as he just maintained still for a while. Chin resting on the top of her head, he let out a long sigh. "You scared me...." He muttered, hugging her only tighter before finally giving in to look down into her eyes, "Are you alright?"

As boring as it sounded, she didn’t really had much to say on regards to her life, all this time she had been living on a one room apartment spending time studying and working, but she was worried that she sounded kind of rude.

Pam proceeded to safely place her dinner on her lap, as she took off her jacket ”Ah… yeah, i’m a student, i got a scholarship and that’s why i moved here, boring, isn’t it?” She smiled to herself, although it was more like feeling sorry for herself.

Of course her attention drifted away, hearing him talk about a late night trip to the beach made her beam in excitement, turning to face him. “Eh? are you serious? i love going to the beach, yeah! i- i don’t mind, i could stay there forever.”

That wasn’t really serious but her excitement took the best of her at that moment, but noticed he was doubting for a moment. “Ehhhh, no! it’s not like i’m fearing for my life, i’m just shy, isn’t it natural, we know nothing about each other, after all…”

Again, he was being to considerate, proof that his intentions weren’t bad.

"You don’t really have to take me home, that’d be too much…its okay as long as you stay with me right now."

As she said so, she turned her gaze towards him, smiling without realizing what she said, but she did meant it, ever since he arrived to her work place, Minato seemed quite stressed out , which she at least wanted to help him with, after all, he already did a lot for her.

Pam looked away, still content, taking another sip of her coffee, and then back to meet his face, just slightly staring at his features.

"How about, we forget about everything else for tonight.. i mean… we might be strangers, but, i want you to feel fine."

"Getting a scholarship and moving to a new place but seeing it as boring??" Minato felt his lips part slightly in awe. He didn't know what Pam was thinking completely - shouldn't she be overjoyed? A scholarship meant that people acknowledged their knowledge and wisdom. Yet the girl sitting in the passenger seat next to him seemed to dismiss this in a overly casual manner, somewhat self degrading. He didn't like that.

Call him cliche, but Minato felt the need to lift up the girl's spirits. "Pam... I wouldn't know why you would find getting a scholarship to be boring... and I'm not asking you tell me why unless you want to, but you should be proud of yourself for being acknowledge of what you've done!" Minato turned to look at her again. He could very easily see through that smile of hers - his gaze softened slightly, "Well, either way, I'm proud that you got a scholarship. New place, new start, that's what they all say hm?" The blonde chuckled as he turned the steering wheel. "I do hope that you did get into a course that you enjoy though, and not one that your parents forced you to do?" He questioned gently, knowing that it can be a rather sensitive subject.

"And with taking you home, Pam - it's only right for me to do so." He couldn't deny that he mostly dragged her along, probably against her will. And now that Minato knew about her having only just gotten a scholarship; what if he was the reason that her grades would fall? That would be the last thing that he wanted. Successfully parking the car, Minato smiled gently at Pam, his azure eyes ever so gently caressing her features through his gaze. "Come on, the moon's out tonight, it'll be pretty to walk along the beach." 

Minato enjoyed the cool sand between his toes - he had left his shoes in his car, and took off his work blazer, draping it over Pam's shoulder. "It's rather cold tonight, and I don't want you catching a cold." His lips pulled a gentle smile.

"Thank you, Pam. It's like what you said - it's good to relax and forget things once in a while. Even if we don't know each other hm?" The blonde leisurely guided them across the length of the beach slowly. "Well, let's improve on that. I wouldn't want this to be completely just strangers between us. Especially after I've dragged you all this way." He tapped his chin thoughtfully, before giving her another kind smile. "Well, it wont hurt to say it again. I'm Namikaze Minato. I'm 29 years old and I work in a law firm. It's a bit busy and difficult to manage sometimes, but it's something that I enjoy doing." 

Gazing at her from the corner of his eye, he decided just to be cheeky - "and I love the bread that Pam sells me."

An old man like him? He certainly didn’t look like an old man, neither acted like one, that made her giggle a little, before looking at him again and smile, getting in his car, of course even in he replied it was okay for him, for her it was new, he probably did this before anyway , and it wasn’t like she would do anything bad, unless, he was secretly a murderer or something along the line, but that was just her own mind being too paranoid about all the manga and books she had read.

After wearing her seat belt properly, she placed her purse right beside her, looking at the blond and slowly receiving the coffee and the chocolate muffin, she wasn’t going to reject him, just yet at least.

"You’re too considerate for an old man, don’t worry, i didn’t get scolded just yet." She replied on a sarcastic yet friendly tone, as she looked right at him with a small smile.

She didn’t knew if it was okay to start eating right in front of him, even those little things made her paranoid, although she did start sipping some coffee. “Tasty.” She playfully murmured.

"—Namikaze Minato? I’m sure i have heard that before…" 

"—Ah! yes i remember, i always pass by that company…"

Wait a second…

"If you’re really Namikaze Minato, you must be… the owner, right?"

Her eyes shimmered a bit, with interest in her glance of course, she couldn’t really believe she’d ever meet the owner…

"A friend of mine works there, as an employee, that is." She smiled thinking about him, just a little though, and then, proceeded to give a proper introduction.

"I’m Pam… just.. Pam… i moved here a few months ago."

After that she kept silence, admiring the night view of the road and eating slowly , trying not to get too close, of course.

"It’s beautiful… t - tonight i mean…."

Minato's initial reaction when Pam told him that she knew his law firm, wasn't an entirely happy one. He had hoped that they could've left things on a simple manner, where she didn't know about his "wealthy" status, and such. He didn't want her to treat him with the same hostility as most of his staff, you see, it didn't make him feel very comfortable. Especially when he wanted this evening to just be relaxed and free from everything.

"...Well, I suppose you can say that... Yes." He murmured and decided to keep his eyes on the road, instead of stealing glances in Pam's direction. "Hm? Well I hope your friend doesn't complain too much about the work load at the firm then. It does get very busy at times." Minato chuckled slightly. He himself had plenty of late nights at the office too, thanks to the various cases that he had to look up on.

He found himself loving the way she had called him considerate. It was nice to hear different things instead of orders. Minato was happy that he found nice company, even if it was just for a few hours. He really needed the air just to breathe and relax.

The blonde smiled again though, when the girl re-introduced herself. "And you're a student...?" Minato let his question trail off, not wanting to sound rude. "Ah, I was thinking of going to the beach right now... To be honest, I don't usually do this so I don't really know where you would like to go..." He turned his head to look at her briefly again, but this time letting his eyes linger on her. Pam was nibbling on the muffin that he had given her; he could see the nervousness that had once again built up in those stiff shoulders. She's rather brave to actually get into my car seeing as we only just met... Minato thought.

"There'd be security on the beach, and the shops around would still be open." He tried to ease her of the possible worries that could be going through her mind currently. Minato himself was starting to feel slightly guilty of worrying her. "Don't hesitate to tell me when you want to leave though, I'll drive you home."

"Wai— t.."

He didn’t even let her respond, although it wasn’t that of a bad idea, this was new for her, maybe he was too friendly, or felt bad that she got in trouble with her boss.

Before he left, Pam responded with a timid smile and quickly returned to her work place, although for some reason she really couldn’t stop looking outside with slight excitement. Her routine of school, work and then home was broken, today after three months of being by herself, that comforted her, sort of.

"Why are you smiling like that after i’ve caught you flirting with a client"

Pam looked at the manager with worry, quickly replying.

"I wasn’t, he asked me for advice… he didn’t knew what to get, after all shouldn’t we help new costumers…" 

"Go home, tomorrow i’ll make you work double, ah don’t forget your tips"

She didn’t really had a lot of luck with them so she didn’t paid attention, but the sudden realization hit her, making her confused yet happy, today was her lucky day, or someone was really being too considerate.

After a while, Pam stood out of her workplace holding her purse tightly, her black long hair was no longer covered by that hat that made her cheeks look really big, and in deed casual clothes fit her best than her uniform. Pam’s heart indicated nervousness, but her eyes wouldn’t stop searching for the blonde who’s name was something she didn’t even knew, but was looking forward to see him again.

As soon as she noticed him, she walked towards him and tried not to make a fool of herself, she wasn’t sure if this was correct, but it wasn’t bad either.

"Sorry if i made you wait too long!" The female bowed politely and then smiled brightly. 

"Its getting late though… are you sure this is okay..?"

Whilst waiting for Pam, Minato put their coffee cups on the top of his car and leant against the car door. He knew it was late, and he knew he would get a long rant as soon as he stepped through his home doors. If he was lucky then maybe she would be asleep. Minato was a cautious man. Courteous and respectful, definitely, but even a man like him had his limits. It wasn't as if he didn't like her - she was his fiancé, even if it was arranged by his parents - but their interests were vastly different, it put him on a constant nerve of wanting to leave, and take a breather elsewhere.

You wouldn't call this using someone, would you? The blonde pondered as he tilted his head backwards to stare up at the star studded sky. It's not like Pam has to come... If she comes, she comes. If she doesn't I'll just go home. He ran his hand through his hair again. He was exhilarated of course, just at the whole thought of staying out late and doing his own thing. Forget about his own tasks at the office, things that went on at home with his parents, the woman that he had to marry for the sake of the company... Aren't I too old anyways for all this? He contemplated desperately, almost as if he was scolding himself for even thinking off the path that was set for him.

His thoughts, however, vanished as he saw her walking towards him. She had changed out of her work clothes, and Minato found himself smiling. He admired how comfortable and relaxed she was in her own shell.

"Mn. It's fine for me. Tell me when you want to leave though, I wouldn't want to cause you any trouble just because you're spending time with an old man like me," He joked as he opened the car door for her. Once settling himself into his own car seat, he passed the coffee that he had gotten to her, and a chocolate muffin that he had purchased just earlier on. "Thanks for all your hard work today, ne? I hope your manager didn't give you too much of a hard time."

Minato decided just to take them on a casual drive to the nearby beach. It was night time and the skies were clear with the moon shining above. Making sure that Pam had her seat belt on, he started the car. "Ah, I haven't introduced myself yet have I?" He looked over at her briefly, giving her a smile, "I'm Minato, and I work in the Namikaze Lawfirm a few streets away from where your bakery."

It didn't matter. Whatever happened now was just between the both of them. He'll make their time worthwhile anyways.

Believe it or not, the minutes she got to share beside him, went to stressful to comfortable too little too fast, she didn’t seem to mind this, he wasn’t really being oblivious nor disrespectful, rather playful and caring, although she could have sworn he’d be just the same with any other employee.

She couldn’t stop feeling nervous about the manager once again carefully gazing her with some sort of discomfort, in three months she had been scolded by him almost every day… and it was understandable, this was actually her first time working , since she didn’t had to do it back home.

"I’m sorry about that…." She spoke softly to the blonde while her cheeks began to blush a little bit, he didn’t really do nothing wrong for her to back off like that, after all.

As soon as she was about to return to her original work place , Pam lifted her gaze to met his. This unknown man was actually asking such a thing? Of course that made her blush a little bit more, her eyes widened slightly and then her hands pressed the small blue apron she was wearing.

It actually took a while until she was able to give a proper response.

"Eh…"

"That’d be… in about 20 minutes…"

Her voice softened, was he really willing to go that far, or was he just the kind of person to ask this to all the people he talked to… Pam tried to avoid looking at him for a little while, and then remembered.

"Next time i should take banana and blueberry flavor…" She whispered to herself.

"Twenty minutes hm? I'll wait for you outside when you're finished with your shift Pam. In the meantime, I think I'll go pay for this just to cheer your mean old manager up hm?" Minato gave her a cheeky smile and went over to the counter (but not before quickly picking up a few more plain muffins on the way). 

Swiping his card to pay for his bread, he quickly kept up his own personal promise and slipped in a hundred dollar bill into Pam's tip box, but not before making sure that she wasn't looking his way. He may be 29 years old, but he wasn't a stupid man either. Being the head of his own law firm didn't dumb him down. Minato knew that he might just be giving off a weird impression, even though his own personal interests were just in making people happy.

Also for his own personal purposes of not wanting to go home too early to an over bearing wife-to-be.

Turning his heel and holding his bag of buns, he gave a genuine smile towards Pam's direction, meeting her gaze before heading out to his car.

Minato sat in his car again, where he found himself gazing at the chocolate muffin propped in the palm of his hand. He found himself to have this sense longing of wanting the next twenty minutes to pass quickly. Excitement perhaps, but he wasn't too sure. Maybe it was just the simple fact that he wanted to spend time with someone who cared less, and thought more simpler.

The blonde glanced at his watch every few minutes, and couldn't stop himself from grinning when there was only five minutes left. He quickly went to the coffee shop across the road and got them both a coffee as he waited for his favourite server to come out.

This time her laugh became slightly louder, after all his response was truly unexpected, but surely he was quite the charming type, or maybe that was what he thought meanwhile arming such a little show for his girlfriend’s preferences.

He even called her by her name so freely, who in the world did he thought he was?, by then, she’d only wish to be home already and maybe think about the way his smile made her shake ever so slightly, oh wait..

Even his reactions to the taste of the bread were something else, she stared , after a few seconds her laugh was a little more obvious, smiling without really noticing, her shoulders felt a little less heavy by the slight panic of earlier. 

"Huh? So you do have a good taste actually!"

Although, the chocolate one, that one is my favorite.” She whispered with some sweetness on her words, just talking about it made her remember the one time she secretly tried that one, and almost got fired.

Of course , she looked a little out of place beside him, but that wasn’t really the thing she was paying attention to, even work was starting to get a little bit better. 

Again, his questions were a little too personal, but still, as she looked through the place, she took a moment to reply.

"Me? Three months exactly, i think…" Her smile became a little less visible this time.

"Ah! sorry ‘bout that! i’m not really allowed to talk to the costumers like this, sorry!" Her nod addressed the male manager who was watching them carefully.

"Hey, I never said that I didn't!" Hearing her tease him like that, Minato found himself pouting just slightly. The blonde seemed to relax more with her, after seeing the girl laugh with more ease. It was his first time meeting her, but he could somehow feel the stress leaving her body - even if it's just a little - and it made him relax with her.

Smiling wider, he reached for the chocolate muffin sample and took it into his mouth, "Ah, you're right! Mmm~ I'll have to get this as well. Hm, have you ever tried banana and blueberry? They taste good if you've got the right amount of sugar in them." He winked at her, now knowing that they were both sugar lovers.

When Pam's smile dropped however, Minato's smile dopped too. He didn't know if it was something that he said, or if something had happened to her. But what the blonde did know, was that he didn't like how she moved away from him. Her next words however, didn't seem to help him feel much better about the situation either. His eyes gazed at the manager who was standing stoically in the corner, and gave him a slight nod.

Minato wasn't the man who played with his social status often, but Pam gave off the sort of vibe that told his instincts to protect her.

Almost silkily, he spoke to her, his eyes never leaving hers, "Well then. When do you finish work?"

Pam shrugged a little, staring up at the blonde who seemed rather stressed out, though it was quite charming, nonetheless, she gave him a confused glare.

"— I wasn’t planing to give it away, there’s a free samples basket over there..but…"

Before she could continue, she noticed her reply was sort of ignored by him staring at his phone, also noticing his gentle smile turn into a really expressionless face, that made her a bit confused, although, wasn’t she really staring at the man too much?

He wasn’t cute…not really, just…no, definitely not handsome.

At his question, Pam couldn’t help a small laugh coming out, thinking to herself for a few seconds, then stepping away a little, she replied.

"—Me…?"

Her look reflected some sort of shyness, no other client really approached her so personally before, and she was just a natural introvert, after all. Before giving out a proper reply, her nervousness was a little bit evident, and so, she looked aside.

"I would eat… Muffin bread, although i don’t think that’d make your girlfriend happy, so the plain muffin is beside you, if you’d prefer any diet ones, then i’m sorry but we have none." 

At that, she laughed to herself, turning away immediately of course, If she had been more obvious, her job would be past history by now.

"No, she's never happy with anything is she..." Minato muttered mostly to himself as he thought about the phone that was deep within his pocket - most likely bursting with unread orders messages. 

"    Eh?" snapping out of his thoughts, Minato stared at her returning back before quickly going after her, looking rather silly holding the lacy bakery basket. "No! If anything, I'm more than happy to have your opinion!" The blonde quickly put a few muffins into the basket (seemingly as to prove his point). The blonde's eyes lingered and hastily put a few plain ones in there as well.

He beamed at her, tilting his head ever so slightly in a carefree manner, "Besides, I don't have much of a preference, and am open to new choices anyways."

Nodding at her earlier comment, Minato headed over to the counter with the free samples basket sitting on top. "I'd love to have your company while I make my choices, Pam." Keeping up his smile, he selected a sample, and popped it in his mouth. "Hoh... This one is nice! It's not too salty, and the texture of the bread is beautiful." Minato laughed cheerfully - this was what he enjoyed, just being carefree and enjoying things that he liked.

He gazed down at the poor worker whom he was dragging around. He'd have to make sure to tip her well later for putting up with him.

"So, how long have you been working here?"

I love how Minato is supposed to be extremely handsome and one of the most talented shinobi ever but he’s really just a giant dork loser who likes to spend most of his time making up absolutely ridiculous names for attacks.

"—Please be sure to do everything as the owners have established, we don’t want any trouble, finally, make sure not to be rude to any of our clients, behave properly, and your image is the most important thing, so smile and most importantly, sell."

All of the employees who were once again rolling eyes secretly at the manager of the bakery. This bakery was well known for its class and good taste, of course, only wealthy people could ever afford it.

"I don’t know why should we, i mean— the payment isn’t really good either." 

"Yeah but i at least can survive." Pam replied with slight discomfort and returned to her workplace properly. 

She had moved not so long ago only to enter to the University of her dreams, she had been working hard to get there, until finally she got a scholarship for it, otherwise there was no way she’d ever be able to wear its uniform with pride. Her family didn’t accept her choice, so she had to work to survive, she didn’t really mind it, as she had no social life either.

Her eyes skimmed through the utensils that had been abandoned on the counter yet again, she immediately stood up straight and smiled when a new costumer approached, his question caught her off guard, but she knew the variety a bit by now.

"——Ah, i’d highly recommend Lemon tea bread, if you’re into sweets, Strawberry Greek bread is also selling quite good, its sweet, but not too much." The girl slowly pointed to the side

"—It’s on the house, if you wanna try one."

"On the house?" Minato laughed slightly and ruffled his own hair, "I don't think your manager would like that very much." Striding over to the row that Pam was pointing to, he bent down slightly gazing at all the individually and delicately wrapped buns, reading their name tags.

Make sure you get the sweet ones. - Danielle

Glancing at his phone, he smiled weakly. 

"Mn. Sweet would be good." Minato nodded before reaching for a weaved lacy basket. He placed the suggested buns into his basket and looked at her, a gentle smile on his lips. "I'm more than happy to pay for the bread that I try, Pam."

Actually, savory would be better. - Danielle

He stared at the screen as texts came in one by one.

I don't want you eating too much sugar. - Danielle

Or too much salt. Ask them if they have plain ones. - Danielle

The blonde gave in and let out a heavy sigh before putting his phone on silent and shoving it into his pocket. Loosening the smooth tie around his neck, Minato gave Pam a somewhat apologetic smile and looked around.

"Have you got any savory ones? ... Actually, which bread would you personally eat?"

With a pleasant smile and a pen in his hand, Minato signed the last few documents, signalling a 'case closed' to the files spread across his table. Shuffling them to a single pile, he handed them to his secretary before getting out of his chair and stretching.

"That's it hm?" He prompted the man, who gave a simple nod in return.

The blonde smiled, satisfied with his day's work and gave the man a pat on the shoulder. "Thanks for your hard work. Make sure you go home soon, we've had a few late nights lately." He spoke kindly as he draped his blazer over his arm before leaving his office.

His phone's vibrations started to irritate him. Shoving the car keys into the slot, he started up his car. It's just bread for christ sake. Minato frowned as he drove out of his office's carpark. His fiancé Danielle, was a high class, image is everything woman. 

Don't get the one from George Street again. It was a horrible choice. - Danielle

Of course, being in a relationship that was forced upon the blonde by his parents didn't give him much freedom. 

His phone bleeped again.

Hurry home. - Danielle

His azure eyes scanned the the bakery's interior. Giving up as to what to choose, he walked up to the counter, his eyes scanning at the girl's name badge in front of him. 

"...Pam? Hello. It's my first time here. What... Would be a good recommendation?"
