in 1997 Topps released a set of trading cards based around The Lost World: Jurassic Park. While the cards weren’t as iconic as their original Jurassic Park sets (no hologram chase cards either), they contain for my money some of the best dinosaur art and photography of the entire franchise, giving a lot of time to Stan Winston’s stunning animatronic work in the sequel. I got my hands on a box and opened it in two parts (PART ONE & PART TWO).

Thoughtful breakdown as always. I won’t be posting anything that’s leaked without the wishes of the filmmakers. So for example, the party plate stills taken before they’re released, toy prototypes, or early footage, I won’t be reposting. The fruit snacks on store shelves now, the new trailer coming February 1st, those are fine to share.

I’m glad as a community we can come together on this issue even if we disagree on semantics. I personally don’t believe those leaked merch photos spoil anything about movie as they are just marketing materials plain and simple, BUT, what’s more important is that we all agree that it’s not cool to share materials before they were supposed to come out. And if someone tries to share it with you, politely decline. There’s no need to demonize anyone, they are probably just as excited as everyone else.
