“You thought what?” he inquired. The woman was clearly perturbed by the public’s reaction to such and outburst. Maybe she had learned a valuable lesson on proper etiquette today. “Finish your sentences or don’t bother to say them out loud to begin with.” It was another pet peeve of his. He preferred the woman spit it out rather than hesitate and beat around the bush.

For a second she stood there quietly, not even looking at him. She was surprised how the other one sounded so angry all of a sudden. ❜❜Nothing.
