It’s so important to stand in your power.

It’s so important to have boundaries.

It’s so important to HONOR yourself.

It’s so important. Create and maintain boundaries that protect and support you. Protect yourself. Boundaries protect you. When you don’t create healthy boundaries, you don’t tell/show people how they’re allowed to behave in your life.

We have not only the RIGHT but the duty to take responsibility for how we allow others to treat us.

There has to be boundaries, you know? Personal boundaries. Discover them. Enforce them. Protect yourself in the sense that you don’t give away your power. Honor yourself.

This entire post is filled with precious advice. I am just now learning how to put up healthy boundaries with others. It is so important. When you first try , it feels very unnatural, and it can be really painful. The only way that it will get easier, is to put them up and reinforce them anyway, through the discomfort. Practice is the only way. It's hard, but it's completely worth it.
