Weird letter that fell out of a thrifted paperback. Included with it were a few receipts, a nonsensical playing card with owls that I desperately want a full matching deck of, and a strange and slightly unnerving letter.

The letter reads as follows:

In these dark days of Yuletide, the great god pan rushes about, spiteful in his drunken merry-ness, setting fire to Christmas trees.
