Directorās cut on Higher?
ohhhhĀ hahahĀ this oneās gonna be a fun oneĀ
SO this whole thing was inspired by a friend telling me that she had seen so many CEO!SuhoĀ fics but couldnāt find one that she really enjoyed or likeĀ āpulled it offā in a sense so I decided to be super extra and give it my best shot because well,,,I could ^^āĀ
And then Higher was born. Initially, I didnāt realize that I would be doing a flashback in each part, however by the time I hit part 3 I realized it had become a pattern and that it was something cool that I could use as a way to see what their relationship was like before the initial breakup. I really wanted to focus on Junmyeonās attitude towards the world and the way he came off before leaving the reader and after coming back.Ā
That being said, the initial story was only supposed to be around 10 parts and was going to end after the reader and Junmyeon made up after the wholeĀ āyou lied to me about getting marriedā segment. However, before I wrote this part, someone asked about a Caffeine/Higher crossover, and the KBU was born.Ā
Itās actually really funny because part of the reason the story became so widespread was that I didnāt realize that I had screwed up by combining the two stories. Jongin had been included in both Caffeine and Higher as different characters, and I was extremely concerned about how I was going to make it all work because I had no idea how to explain why the legitimate son of a rich chairman was working at a coffee shop.Ā
