I was getting discouraged and impatient. I felt like almost a year of investment was going down the drain, that there's no light even after walking this far. But God speaks, and He reassures.

I guess my cousin's story should stand as a reminder for me that He delivers His promises.

She dreamt of living in Europe ever since. So she did her research, then studied the language. And just last week, her employer granted her a visa and she'll be flying later.

His ways are indeed higher than our ways.

She could've gone to a different country when she was getting impatient, but she didn't. She was sure of what God has promised her.

And the timing was perfect.

Now, she's on her way to God's promised land for her.

It was a definitely a "sana all" moment when she broke the news last week.

But I'll wait for our turn ~ patiently, mostly impatiently ~ but waiting nonetheless, holding on to His promises.

Our idea of goodness and justice does not always align with God’s. Why? Because His ways and thoughts are higher than our own. Where our understanding is limited, His is limitless. Where our judgement is often clouded by emotions, opinions, and preferences, His judgement is perfect and balanced. He may not always do what feels right to us, but He will never—under any circumstances—do something morally wrong. And if we don’t understand His actions, then we need to learn to trust His character instead.
