[She clips the deadbolt and unlocks the control room. She steps in and locks it from the inside. She turns on the built in loudspeaker.]

Alright. Put on the goggles and we can test this thing out.

[She turns on the screens and puts on a forest display.]

Tell me what you see. After the test, we'll do some real training.

[With the goggles, she sees a forest. She expects to feel the wind on her skin as she removes her sweater from under the corset, tossing it into the corner of the room. It slides so far. She runs, but she doesn't feel anything.]

I see the landscape, but I-I don't feel anything. I don't like it.

Figures. I really didn't wanna have to do this...but I guess I'll have to.

[She opens a drawer. Inside is a full set of equipment and a syringe. She switches off the monitors and enters the Box.]

Put this on. And I'll inject you with this.

[It's a sleek and transparent harness. Putting it on, you don't feel it. That's when she injects you with the syringe. Nothing feels wrong. She hooks the harness onto a hook that you didn't notice on the ceiling. It's in the center of the Box, and while it doesn't attach uncomfortably, it's left a few inches of leeway, the harness itself feels a little...invasive. It's got padding, but the placement of it is uncomfortable.]

Yeah, yeah, I know. But it's what works.

[She exits and the deadbolt clicks into place. You see the sim boot up again and everything feels much more...realistic.]

[As she runs, she feels the wind run through her hair as the forest moves around her, dodging the trees and rocks as she flies through the fresh air. She doesn't even remember that she's in a sim until Dragon speaks.]

Back to business, Heather!

[The sim stops and you slow down. She speaks into the loudspeaker with a command.]

Alright, now that we know it works, let's get to training. Get her out.

[Her tone is that of a drill sargeant, rather than a friend trying to help.]

Regarding what happened when I was just this massive god-complex filled bitch, I hated you for it. I hated being less, but after coming to terms with it, I realised just how big of a feat that killing me was, especially in that form. I became proud of both of us for it. And if I could turn my thoughts from hating you into pride, then surely you can get better as well!

Uh, actually, I'm kind of a weird mix of both. I just remember being both the Adversary, and the Tower. I don't like it, it's weird. But still, that doesn't mean I prefer one over the other. Being the Tower was fun, just getting to be so powerful, but my mind was just clouded with thoughts of getting more powerful. Having control. I couldn't think. And when I was killed by you, my mind was even more clouded by just... "Make him PAY." And when I was the Adversary, I just was so obsessed with fighting that I couldn't think there either. Both were awful. But both gave me a sense of perspective. The Tower memories remind the Adversary part that we don't always need to fight, and they balance the Tower side by reminding me that I'm not more powerful than everyone. It's a solid balance. I'm not her, but also I am.

Both were awful. But both gave me a sense of perspective. The Tower memories remind the Adversary part that we don't always need to fight, and they balance the Tower side by reminding me that I'm not more powerful than everyone. It's a solid balance. You tried to kill me, failed, and let me kill you. That gave you negative one as your point value, and me one point. Then you killed me, but I took you down with me. We killed eachother, so no points are added. From here, there are only two ways this can go. Either I kill you five times and you only kill me once, or neither of us kill the other. You lost. You lost either way. But I gloated over an unfair win. And I made you feel like utter shit for letting me. It was completely unfair. You are always going to die. There is no way to win for you in that situation. The game is thrown. You killing yourself counts as you dying, because you do not kill me. You kill yourself, and that is a death on your part, so you have a point taken away. There is no way for you to win. There is no reason to feel bad about it, though.
