Christmas doesn’t feel as merry as before.

Hindi ko alam kung tumanda lang ba tayo… pero parang konti na lang ang nangangaroling, hindi na ganun karami ang Christmas lights sa kalsada, hindi na bongga ang parties, hindi na ganun kabigat ang Christmas rush at sales—and for some, pati bonuses, wala na rin.

Maybe nasanay lang talaga tayo sa Pasko nung bata pa tayo—simple, inosente, at punong-puno ng excitement. But let’s not forget the real reason for this season: JESUS—the greatest gift ever given to humanity, salvation o kaligtasan.

Its always theseason of giving and loving, kaya kung kaya mong magbigay ng kahit ano, maliit man o malaki, basta galing sa puso—ibigay mo with love and compassion. And in other way around, be grateful for the everything around you: people, experience, family, friends, co-workers, and loved ones who still make this season feel warm and meaningful.

May the spirit of Christmas be still with us.
