These past few days, my intuition had been telling me to make a phone call. I don't know why, but I just had an inkling to be the one to reach out. I finally made it tonight only to hear such unfortunate news on the other line.

I have lost someone who was once an ever-present figure in my life... With that said, although life is fleeting, love is not.

I'd like to keep a positive attitude in light of the situation, and try to reinforce the same for everyone else's sake. It's times like this that I find myself desperately wishing to be home.

There is plenty I'd like to say about death, but for right now, I think I'd like some good ol' "me time" to allow my emotions to catch up with me. So long, and good night!
