BLIPTOONS TUMBLR REBRAND

Hello all! Min here! I'm the CEO of BlipToons and the creator of our upcoming indie series, Zipped Up. I am posting here today to announce that my Tumblr will now strictly be my personal Tumblr page. If you would like to support BlipToons via social media/continue to see updates about the studio, you can follow us on our other social media pages: Youtube Twitter TikTok Instagram I personally felt like this change was necessary, as I would like to use this Tumblr to communicate with you all as a creator rather than as the studio as a whole. I follow a lot of artists and creators on this account as SillyMinny, and support them as SillyMinny! To add, I never changed the username to this account, as I felt as if I never saw this account as solely "BlipToons," rather solely "Min/SillyMinny's personal Tumblr page." In the future,do you think Bliptoons will produce other family-friendly Indie series ?

It depends on how much funding our studio will receive with time! We want to focus all of our time onto Zipped Up for as long as we can! :-) Since the series will be on a 11 min episode x 3 seasons basis, if the pilot is successful and we see that idea is possible, we’ll only focus on that in the future! But of course, things can change if we see anyone on our team has more ideas to share that we can afford to take on!

We absolutely will! Most likely not in the pilot, but we do plan on sharing her concept art so social media soon!

Hi ! I don't know that many details about Zipped up so forgive me if you already answered this question,but since the show is kid-friendly there isn't the risk that It might get demonetized once it releases on YouTube ?

Us saying it's for kids doesn't mean we're going to list it for kids on Youtube. A show having no cussing or sex jokes isn't going to be demonetized on Youtube: we've posted clips, endless content and shorts on Youtube without having this problem ^ Zipped Up, although made with kids in mind, has a very generalized sense of humor and a storyline that everyone can enjoy. It's a serialized show, not an educational one in concept. It will not be teaching children how to count, spell, etc. It's a show with a plot, a storyline, and fun music that anyone can enjoy :-)! It's just made with children in mind, the same way Steven Universe or My Little Pony was.

Just found out today that Kester is canonically Intersex!! Is there any pronouns that he goes by that aren’t just he/him? Is there any pronouns that he personally prefers to go by?

Kester's pronouns are he/him, and those are the pronouns he identifies with! Though occasionally cross-dressing eases his gender dysmorphia!

Hi! so i seem to notice that some people seem to know characters or information that i never knew e.g The Hate and The Hope character, so ive been wondering, if you guys have another social media account that introduces some lore about zipped up or smth that i didn't know about?? Anyway, wishing you a successful kickstarter! and hope your okay. I may not have a credit card (as a minor) but you can do it!!! I believe in you guys no matter how tough things are!!! :)

2. I’ve shared information both through our funded Kickstarter story section page and posts here and there about the series on our BlipToons social media page. We plan to do a genuine post about these characters soon, it’s just been difficult with production of the series being on lock!

WHAT THE GNA UNIVERSES WOULD LOOK LIKE/REFERENCES

VAPOR:

His universe is quite literally a slit in the multiverse. After his initial universe was destroyed, Vapor managed to manifest a void, just he, himself, and his mansion in one place. Soltitude, and space to worship and bring forth the Hate's initial plans for the multiverse.

RCCK:

Before the war, RCCK's universe looked something similar to the Candy Kingdom from Adventure Time. Very colorful, and yummy to look at! His kingdom was called the "Butterflake Kingdom."

TWIGGS:

Twiggs' universe and its vibe is very similar to the general vibe of the woods from Craig of the Creek. Very green, soft on the eyes, easy to look at. It's soothing and calming, just like his vibe as a character: chill.

D.O.M.

DOM's universe is very distopian. No nature, no trees, smoggy, bright. Imagine lights everywhere, the light color corresponding to D.O.M.'s mood. Tubing, plumbing and energy similar to DOM's.

Miss Fortune

Miss Fortune's vibe is very similar to that of a Casino. Obviously in the series, we can't exactly do a Casino, but it'll have a similar vibe to one. Something like King Dice's casino!

GILL

Very simple, straight to the point: Atlantis.

Kester:

Also very straight to the point! An endless carnival, and a large over-arching circus tent overseeing the universe! You've already seen imagery of his universe in sneak peeks, but here are some Pinterest photos to show a little more of the vibe we're going for!

If that usb thing on the side of DOM’s head gets removed, what would happen? Does it actually do something? Or can it swap into a different computer screen?

The USB on the side of DOM's head just stores his face! If you take it out, he's still in there, but you need to plug him into a monitor for you to see him/hear him! In his universe, his USB is usually plugged into a massive screen. What he feels and says is broadcast throughout the whole overarching city that he controls (which is his entire world), similarly to White Diamond, and her control over Homeworld (how her voice was broadcast to everyone and how her blush turned everything pink) from Steven Universe. His USB is just plugged into his robot body so he can move around and interact with others! He doesn't always stay that way though :-)

Ok, so I gotta ask! Sense D.O.M is a computer, does that mean he has Bluetooth? Or a form of it? If so, can anyone connect to it and play music or show images on his screen and speakers? I can imagine that if Twiggs figured out how, ohhhhh boy. . . Bet Kester would have a kick outta that ngl

According to Brynn, he's an extremely old computer model (one of the first computers ever made in his universe), so he would only have AUX ports, not Bluetooth!

is there any information we could get about gill and/or miss fortune as we know very little about them compared to the rest of the gna?

Miss Fortune: Miss Fortune is one of the most interesting characters in the GNA in my opinion. The reason why we don't post as much about her backstory or her character is because I haven't reached a point where I've discovered exactly HOW to do that without spoiling everything about her arc. I really want her story to be unique, I want it to be empowering not just to her as a character, but for all of the women and girls watching the series. Without spoiling much, her arc will be about independence, and using her voice as a Woman. The GNA primariliy consists of men, Gill not included, and Miss Fortune's words either get completely disregarded, or she's not taken seriously. She does get to speak her mind in the pilot, but to no avail. That's something that I find so common in all aspects of life as a woman, and now that I'm working in a more professional environment, I notice it a lot around me both in College, and in my own experiences from time to time in industry spaces. It's something I feel like young girls or young female presenting people do not learn much about until they experience it, and I really want there to be a character that they can confide in through the screen to teach them and show them that this SHOULD NOT be normalized, and that women are just as empowering and as important as men. I really can't wait to tell her story, most of the GNA's arcs will not happen early in the series, but I hope that if we can do full Seasons, that around a Season 2, we'd explore these characters more one on one on a more personal level. Gill: Gill's character is SUPPOSED to be a mystery. They're not a character that I feel comfortable speaking too much on because their story is extremely personal to my personal experiences in my own life and I want to tell that story through their character once we get there in Seaons 1 & 2 (if we're able to do seasons). If I can give a brief overview: it's about loss of friendships, dealing with people moving on. Gill's character is very connected to RCCK's character, and how Gill copes with that loss of friendship is through silence. Gill will be the first of the GNA that we'll get to learn and grow with, and I'm very excited to explore that throughout this series :-)!

Is Twiggs the kind of person to give everyone nicknames? If so, what kind of nicknames would they have for the other GNA members?

HE IS! He doesn't do it much in the pilot, but nicknames you'll hear a lot are: D.O.M.: Legs Miss Fortune: Lady Luck Gill: Waters RCCK: Pussy cat Vapor: (he knows better not to give him a nickname) Kester: Clown
