----------------- part 1 --------------
The next morning, the Fat Controller arrived at Tidmouth Sheds. He looked very serious, as he had already heard the rumors from the stationmaster.
"Edward," he said sternly, "I hear there is a stray animal on my railway. This will cause confusion and delay! I must send it to where it belongs—the animal shelter. It will be well looked after there until its owner brings it home."
The engines spoke up for the puppy. "Sir, if I take the puppy with me, I might find its home faster, and it won't affect my work at all," pleaded Edward.
"Sir," said Thomas, "The puppy is very well-behaved. It was quiet all night and didn't disturb our rest."
"Yes, and it doesn't need coal either, so it won't waste the railway's resources," whispered Percy.
The puppy poked its head out of the cab door, looking curiously at the grand gentleman, remaining still and quiet. Seeing how remarkably well-behaved the puppy was, the Fat Controller softened.
"Very well, Edward. I shall allow you to keep it with you while you complete your goods duties today to look for its owner. But if you cannot find its home before the sun sets tonight, it must go to the animal shelter. The railway on the Island of Sodor must run safely and on time!"
"Thank you, Sir! I promise to be a Really Useful Engine today," replied Edward, and he set off with the puppy.
*Edward's Theme plays
Edward was delivering goods deep into the Island of Sodor today. As they were crossing an old wooden bridge, the puppy suddenly barked loudly and fiercely. "How strange," said the fireman. "It's been so quiet until now."
On their return journey after delivering the goods, the puppy began barking frantically again as they approached the bridge. "This is very peculiar," said the driver. The puppy only ever barked at this specific stretch of track. "Could there be something wrong with the bridge?"
They stopped the train and walked over to the bridge to listen carefully. Without the loud rumble of the engine, they could hear the wooden bridge groaning and creaking ominously. It was full of large cracks and looked ready to collapse at any moment!
As it turned out, the puppy's hearing was much sharper than a human's, and it had detected the structural fault ahead of time. Thanks to its early warning, a terrible accident had been avoided.
The maintenance crew arrived and mended the bridge. The Fat Controller praised the puppy warmly. "You are a Really Useful Puppy indeed!" he said.
Edward continued his journey to the station. Just as he was about to leave, he heard an anxious passenger asking around, "Has anyone seen my puppy? My puppy is missing!"
Edward quickly backed up and said, "Excuse me, Sir, is this your puppy?"
"Yes, that's it!" cried the passenger. "I lost my black-and-white puppy!"
"And a splendid puppy it is," said Edward proudly. "It helped us discover a dangerous hazard on the line today."
"My word, I had no idea!" said the passenger, deeply grateful. "Thank you so much for looking after it. I shall write a letter of praise to your Controller to thank you all properly."
That evening, when Edward returned to Tidmouth Sheds, the other engines asked, "Did the puppy find its home?"
"Yes, it did," replied Edward.
The engines felt a little sorry to see it go, for they had all grown fond of the puppy, but they were much happier knowing that it was safely back home where it belonged.

Edward And The Puppy (part1/2)
This is my very first TTTE fanfic episode!
I personally love the cozy atmosphere of the early Model Era much more than the later CGI Era (especially BWBA), so I wrote this in an attempt to capture and continue that classic Sodor world.
If you have any thoughts, please feel free to leave a comment or come chat with me! I am really looking forward to connecting and talking about the Classic Era with fellow fans.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

It took one evening
I drew these full-body character illustrations of Kasane Teto and Adachi Rei. They’re free to use for any non-commercial purposes—you can use them in your videos, posters, covers, or anywhere you like, as long as you credit the original artist (me).
It’s been a long time since ArtFight, and only now am I finally posting those works
During this time, I tried writing a script for an independent animation about my OC, moved to a new city, met up with old friends, broke off with old friends, healed some wounds, gained some new ones, self-loathing, found confidence again.
Anyway, we’re still alive — maybe all be well
plz look at me XD

Most of my past experience has been on local platforms — this is my first time reaching out globally!

I have many different art styles, but I’m not very skilled at any of them. It’s like how I’m interested in many things but haven’t mastered any one of them. I’ve seen many artists keep a consistent style—should I be like them and stick to just one, giving up the rest? Maybe style is something that should stay free, at least for the part of me that creates original work. But I need commissions to make a living—would an inconsistent style turn clients away? I’d appreciate any advice.
