I've been getting back into Annie lately, the musical, and coming at it now from a hyperfixating tgirl who was raised on this story I'm so fucking glad I got to see as many movie versions as I did! I've never gotten to see Annie ever on stage, but I was raised watching the 1982 one on VHS, and then once the 2014 one came out when I was 11, I watched that obsessively, as well as happening to find a third Annie film from 1999 by Disney Television! All 3 of these are fucking phenomenal in their own rights! But as I get back to listening to the 2014 soundtrack and thinking about this story again for the first time on HRT and first time since becoming way more hyperfixaty/autistic, and knowing what fandoms are, this musical is fucking cute as shit and amazing!! Regardless of era! Listening to songs like Maybe and Who Am I really hit differently now at 22 than at 11, like they wanna make me cry. Easy Street and Hard Knock Life are way more relatable than ever, etc! Thanks for coming to puppy's Ted talk :3

So I was scrolling and saw this image in an article about the European heat wave,
And was like, uh, are you missing something there, buddy? Like all that red in northern Africa? Because that's a lot of red.
And I was going to give them the benefit of doubt, since I don't know much about the climate in Northern Africa, aside from Morroco and Egypt, which seem like really hot places, so you know, maybe it's normal there?
But nope, that's not the case:
