Deep State says Russia took more ground in July than Ukraine liberated, about 88 square kilometers when you factor in delayed Ukrainian wins from May-June. Worst spots are near Rodynske, Kostiantynivka and toward Sloviansk-Kramatorsk.

Behemoth is just a silly guy:
"And I am certainly like a hallucination. Note my profile in the moonlight." The tom stepping into the column of moonlight and wanted to add something else, but he was asked to keep quiet, and he said: "Very well, very well, I'm ready to keep silent. I shall be a silent hallucination." And he fell silent.

My favorite chapters so far in the Master and Margarita are “the Sinister Apartment” and “Black Magic and Its Full Exposé.”
“The Sinister Apartment” is great because it is exactly that: sinister. This is where we really get to meet Woland’s retinue, including Behemoth, the giant cat who apparently loves sausages and mushrooms. We get a glimpse of Woland’s power when he banishes Stepan to Yalta in an instant.
“Black Magic and Its Full Exposé” is just a trip. Here we see Woland’s right-hand man, Koroviev (aka Fagot) make money rain down from the ceiling onto a bewildered audience before Behemoth rips off the master of ceremonies’ head, much to the crowd’s horror, then reattaches it as if nothing had happened.
"Hail to the Rooster!" was probably one of the most horrifying chapters I’ve read so far. Varenukha’s appearance in Rimsky’s office is deeply unsettling, especially his insistence on hiding his face from Rimsky, his altered speech pattern, and, of course, his complete lack of a shadow. It is now clear that he was transformed into something sinister after his encounter with the witch earlier in the novel. As if that weren’t enough, the witch reappears, desperately clawing at the window and contorting her body in inhuman ways as she attacks Rimsky, nearly succeeding before being interrupted by the crowing of a rooster.
Finally, I'm at a point in the book where we start to focus on Margarita, and the last few chapters I have read have been very enjoyable. Starting from book two, the perspective changes solely to Margarita, her sorrow at the Master disappearing, and her transformation into a witch by Azazello. Her antics in "Azazello's Cream" and "Flight" were both highly enjoyable, though I feel as if her enjoyment as a witch will be short lived when she presumably meets Woland.
