SPOILERS FROM CHAPTER 15

The idea of Shadow Milk Cookie being an edgy Timekeeper clone and the possibility of an anti-TBD group existing, being an army of Black Sapphire and Candy Apple cookies pisses me off (figuratively speaking). I seriously cannot stand it one bit to have another character being like 'OoOooOOooooo GREAT MASTER SHADOW MILK YOU ARE SO SMART AND DECEITFUL, CUNNING, POWERFUL OoOOoOOOOoooo' Insect-Beasts coming to Kingdom, only to probably be overshadowed by Shadow Milk's bug form 🤣🤣🤣 (I am going insane I don't want to care about these games anymore HELP) Shadow Milk because He overshadows everyone And he is Devsisters' milkcow It writes for itself (joking) I had never posted something the entire time since I have had Tumblr, but I just can't stop thinking about it and I had to say something because just not saying anything at all....I could not do that, I just could not. I just pray that Timekeeper will eventually reverse everything to the 'right timeline', but crk Timekeeper will probably be shaking in her boots, sweating and being like '....I....have never encountered a threat like THIS before....oh no...oh lordy lord....' the entire time like 'ermmmm how am I going to defeat this calamity?' I’m honestly so pissed off about the story in this new update, and I haven’t even played the new episode. I got it all spoiled for me and I’m still pissed off

Having White Lily kill herself in order to stop Dark Enchantress and achieve freedom and framing this as the best choice is not right and sends a very harmful message to people who struggle with suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Suicide is not freedom, it is robbing yourself of the true freedom of becoming something more before you had the chance to, yet this plot point tries to frame it as if it's the only choice for freedom which is incredibly harmful (coming from someone who struggles with this shit).

Eternal Sugar being written as redeemable and being written as being able to heal from her behavior and trauma and maybe even have an actual healthy relationship with Hollyberry instead of the unhealthy, obsessive one she has now, only to be killed off before she could see even a fraction of that redemption and healing is not good, tragic writing, it’s just bad. There are good, tragic ways to do the trope of redeemable antagonistic character dies before they can have redemption, this was not it.

The other beasts dying was also such bullshit since all the beasts seemed to be set up to be redeemable no matter how poorly it was done in their story (in terms of Mystic Flour and Burning Spice's storylines) or how well is was done (in terms of Eternal Sugar and Silent Salt), and it just makes them feel like wasted characters. I would have much rather DevSis go for the corny ass friendship is magic ending instead, because at least then the beasts' storylines would actually have purpose to them instead of just being some villain for the ancients to fight before they get killed off.

Introducing Sugar Swan into the story only for her to barely do anything is bullshit. I can’t really speak on this much because I haven’t played CROB (nothing against CROB btw, it’s not really my type of game) but introducing a character who seems to be extremely important to the lore only to have them do jackshit is lazy writing.

Shadow Milk getting all the beast's powers at the end barely had any fucking buildup and just came out of fucking nowhere. Like- I skip the cutscenes a lot because I'm an impatient motherfucker and would rather have the story summarized to me and even I can tell that plot point came out of the fucking blue. (also not to mention how, like the other beasts being killed off, it also ignores the actual potential for redemption that Shadow Milk has in favor of having him go on a power trip instead)

The whole story for this update just seems really sloppy and lazily done, and it's so disappointing because it had so much potential to be a really nice redemption story for the beasts where they break away from the roles they were forced into, heal from their trauma, and start anew, but instead they were killed off for some bullshit Shadow Milk power fantasy.

ESC may have been mentally unstable and obsessive but she atleast saw SMC for what he really was about. And she was absolutely right in the end.

It really makes me wonder what the deal was between these two, I thought that we had gotten hints of it being further elaborated on since her garden does share some possible motifs with his theme... I mean, every beast relationship's seems strained, but these two seem to have a really 'sour' connection

Mfw I get to be a complete cruel, wicked, mocking and treacherous person every single time to everybody without any lasting consequences because I have insane plot armour. I am so powerful I can absorb all the beasts' power and become a timeline god, why? BECAUSE DEVSISTERS SAID SO, DAMN IT

Edit: Seriously, did they expect us to freaking clap our hands upon seeing what had happened in the latest chapter? That was absolutely FOUL and the four beasts, especially Silent Salt have been done so incredibly dirty. You just had to make sure that Shadow Milk went like 'Lmao take this L' upon Silent Salt dying. Absolutely unpleasant ending all around for the beasts saga. Would have prefered to be it the other way around for the four beasts to be alive except SMC. And it is sad, it is not SMC fault, it is the poor writing team from Devsisters' fault. This is sincerely the most infuriating and heartbreaking ending I have unfortunately come across in a game. Eternal Sugar should have never left her garden, she was right all along. Look where it got her/j (I have actually been sobbing about how this all turned out. She sounded so scared.... :(((( Just killing all of the four beasts. Screw their complexity and chance at redemption) Really messed up and tragic for all of them. Bravo Devsisters!

Something I need to get off my chest about chapter 15 of Cookie Run Kingdom...a rant SPOILERS FROM CHAPTER 15 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I genuinely don't understand why Shadow Milk getting to drain the soul jam's energy of other beasts is seen as something 'cool' and 'interesting', it is so incredibly out of nowhere.. Even though the beasts did horrible things, I don't think they deserved this fate, I get that things would not be suddenly happily ever after, but oh my god, what was Devsisters THINKING on taking this route??? The only reason why Shadow Milk is now being framed as this 'new big bad', is because Devsisters loves to chase that precious 💸💸💸 Shadow Milk should not be able to have these kinds of powers...IT MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. If the beasts were all supposed to be dead, WHY ISN'T SHADOW MILK?? It feels even horrible to say this, just killing them all off was a bold move, a very bold and awful move.

Is this really what the beasts deserve? Just death? Again, they used their powers for evil, but don't forget that they became this way because of the powers and responsibility given to them that THEY HAD NO CHOICE IN RECEIVING. Being seen as a 'function' rather than getting to be a person is bound to drive someone mad.

Burning Spice Cookie wanted to fullfill his duty has the herald of change, but was forced to see everything grow and prosper and then fall into destruction, again and again and again, driving him to madness

Mystic Flour Cookie wanted to grant wishes for cookies, even though they were incredibly ungrateful and tried to destroy her temple, leading her to feel like everything is worth nothing

Eternal Sugar Cookie wanted happiness for cookies, but she could not bear the pain that cookiekind had felt and wanted to escape from it all

And yes, they became twisted and evil while having these moments, but it should not change that while they did change for the worst... and what they did was not the answer, absolutely far from it, does that still mean that they just deserved death? I understand that Silent Salt is extremely mad at them, because they betrayed him, but if he is so 'just', surely he would also understand that THEY SUFFERED TOO. But no, he's just constantly being like 'grrrrr you all should die' like it feels so off?? And Shadow Milk...yes, he has suffered too, absolutely, he is tragic but...why is he the exception all the time??? Now Devsisters has destroyed every single beast so now Shadow Milk can be the forced ''next big bad''. Class act Devsisters.

Edit: And I get that redemption is not something that just happens, it needs time but, I really expected there to be a change of heart, especially from Eternal Sugar. You all robbed them of their own complexity.

If you do want to walk this path down so badly that Shadow Milk becomes the center villain, even though I still think that is a godawful decision, you could have atleast waited and not immediately right after the ''bittersweet ending'' but well..you already had shown the fusion between Silent Salt and White Lily, you need to move on to your next 'beasts', probably going to be a new rarity called 'virtues', screw this game and screw you devsisters for your unashamed greed and favouritism.

Timekeeper being afraid of Shadow Milk,...seriously? I pray that the next update will be Timekeeper reversing everything and erasing Shadow Milk from existence at this point. Very likely not going to happen but it would be nice. Absolute waste of potential, all of them. And now they want to shoehorn Shadow Milk as this 'timeline threat'...I miss it when he was just a manipulative, mean but secretly lonely ghostly jester clown... and I miss it when all beasts were deemed as a threat...every beast except smc got treated as a 'saturday morning cartoon villain'... and I will say it especially, I am honestly a bit biased because ESC is my favourite beast, but, oh my god, why did you not let her redeem herself in chapter 14 and make her respect Hollyberry's duty and way of life? It really felt like you were leading us on all along, I don't care if it would be friendship or romance. You flanderised them all. Another example is that you made Burning Spice just a 'I like breaking those damn wings' brawns over brains kind of character... I have been playing Ovenbreak for 8 years, I have been playing Kingdom for 4 years. And I never, ever, have felt so disappointed, confused and upset about an arc's conclusion before. So much so that I have deleted both games. I know, I am just one person and it does not matter a single tiny bit if I would play the game or not, but I really am shocked just how dark and cold this ending felt. For a game about hope, connection and redemption, grudges and hatred seem to have gotten the upper hand in that situation... I mean, great that the ancients got to reunite with their kingdoms but, the happy hopeful music that plays is just rubbing salt in the wound for me. This was not a nice conclusion... Sugar Swan deserved better, WHITE LILY DESERVED BETTER. Again, shame on you Devsisters. Why do you keep treating your own characters so poorly? And you just seem to forget about the beast's ''servants'', but apparently, they are just dead too because their respective beasts died. Amazing. I wish I had a button in my head to just stop caring about this franchise, but unfortunately, I don't. So I guess I will just have to focus on other things I like (And one more thing, basically the confrontation between all the beasts was essentially futile, because they were all going to get killed off anyway. What was the point of seeing the past of the beasts and knowing that they have suffered before they have had snapped?? I just can't believe it, I can't believe Devsisters made this and expect us all to go like 😊 what a satisfying heartwarming conclusion!! and then upon seeing Shadow Milk expecting us to be like 😳 OMGOMGOMG WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT?? Really insane that not even Hollyberry got to show some sort of sadness for ESC. You would think that since, she seems to be the most compassionate ancient next to Pure Vanilla to her beast counterpart. But nope, they all just forgot about them. And what was the point of Pure Vanilla's compassionate awakening...when Shadow Milk is not offered a chance to change and constantly being like 'NO I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU'...it really get's to a point... You could have easily just made a new villain but because Shadow Milk is the clear favourite, you reused him for a type of villain that should not even fit him in the first place...they all deserved better...really...including Shadow Milk)
