     A loud sneeze left the shifter as she walked down the park pathway, a sour expression on her face that was simply enhanced by the slight puffiness of her eyes.

     Clearly fed up, she flopped down onto a nearby bench, barely registering the other person sat on it; she simply let her head fall back over the backrest and sniffed loudly, reaching for the pack of tissues in her jacket pocket.

a quick update for you lovely people that are sticking around: I’ve been mega busy with coursework and although my last deadline is tuesday, I’ll have to make a start on revision for exams so i’ll probably not be on any more that i have for the past few weeks but i’m not leaving for good, i just need to do okay with these exams if i want to get into uni this year

character in general: ngl i still haven’t watched twd yet but i kinda like them they seem like a chill dudehow they play them: again idk much but from what i’ve heard and seen they play them amazingly and ugh wonderfulthe mun: actual bae i love her a lot and she’s basically a sister to me; super nice and caring

One Hell of a Reunion (Sean & Minty)

“Really”  Sean said with a soft chuckle, even though he understood what she meant. His throat was raw, and his head was pounding.  “I couldn’t tell at all”  He crouched down in front of Minty, giving her a chance to rest. “Are you living here? Can I see you home?  If not, you want to crash at my place for awhile? You know for old time’s sake.”

     She nodded before looking up and clarifying her action.

           “If you don’t mind, I don’t actually have a place to stay right now.                  I’ll pay for my food and whatever else you need, but a roof would be nice for once.”

     Her eyes still held that spark of hers, and she held up a wobbling hand for what seemed to be a weak high-five gesture.

                       “We kicked ass today, huh.                                       —How about I cook for you this time?”

“Then y’better hol’ tight.” He muttered, kicking off the tarmac and pushing the bike into gear, revving the engine and continuing to get away, the countryside blurring as he headed back towards Alexandria.

     For the first time in a long, long time, Minty let herself let go, focussing on the wind ruffling her hair and the rumble of the bike beneath her. In the back of her mind she had a small worry about where Daryl was taking her, but she made the decision to deal with that when it came to it. 

     For the time being, she tipped her head back and held on to the back of the bike, her teeth fully on show thanks to the grin that spread her lips.
