His smile was almost Cheshire-like beneath his own mask. The grinning dragon mask he wore was quite unknown, considering he rarely appears in high profile raids, or the fact that no one would survive to spread the infamy.

“More.” He nodded, walking towards her leisurely, as if he owned the entire alleyway they were in. “You continue to hunt as you please. Perhaps help us hunt and bring them to our stores, so that others may reap the benefits of your skill.”

“I can be called Dragon.” He introduced himself, joining his wrist beneath his chin like the leaves to a flower to showcase his mask. “Sometimes I wonder if I should call myself Grinning Dragon.” He chuckles. 

“Anyway… I’m a recruiter. I recruit talented ghouls like yourself, whose skills help us in our gathering of… ingredients.” He paused, before deciding on naming human, ingredients. “What we offer however, is protection. Also, an all you can eat back where we hold our auctions. Perhaps from time to time, you may experience rare delicacies that unique humans can provide…”

“I mean… you’re all alone. The way you eat would start gathering attention. It may only be a matter of time before the doves find you.” He crossed his arms, tilting his head. “I’m merely opening door for you. No. Strings. Attached.”

She kept her guard up, limbs still stretched out and taught with adrenaline and ready to bolt. What he proposed sounded tempting, and Minyoung was almost convinced. 

“Dragon…” She tested lightly, feeling around the name. “They call me Smiley.” And that was her name on the streets, to the CCG, to anyone other than her friends and her human neighbourhood. What Dragon was proposing sounded more and more tempting and she was soon hanging by a thread, caught in the webbing picture he was spinning for her. 

“Protection.. sounds good. I think I could help with gathering ingredients.” She laughed at the end, imagining the naive humans as spices and such. She thought it would be good, belonging to a group. She didn’t get to eat with her sisters together as much as she would have liked and making some new friends wouldn’t hurt– especially if it was a mutually benefiting situation. 

“I think I’d like to cross through that door, I don’t want to be caught, and it sounds like just the type of fun I love.” She pulled her mask up to her face, sliding the disguise on and smiling widely underneath to match the sculpted face above; “When can I start.”

He watched from above, legs hanging off the ledge of the roof. Her cry was realistic, and with a face and voice like that, naturally someone came to help her. He laughed silently, watching how the lamb walked himself to the slaughter. The scream that ended instantly she acted, it became clear this was not her first rodeo.

She ate well as well, and Jiyong clapped silently, like a parent watching his child finish every scrap of food in their bowl. 

He allowed himself to drop, and before impact his base kagune, ukaku sprang forth and clawed against the wall, slowing his descent. He quickly kept his kagune, lest it forms into his full kakuja and this scouting trip becomes a feasting one.

“Hello. Are you full?” He asked. “I have a place where you can eat more if you’re hungry. All you can eat.” He chuckles.

There’s blood under her nails, dripping down her cheek, staining the pavement. There’s no one around that she can sense so she pulls up her mask, lessening any possible obstruction from her feast. And what a feast it was, 2 bodies in on her count. She’d upset her parents if they knew, and they probably did, but she was proud-- her sisters would be too. 

It was just so satisfying; the thrill of the hunt and chase of prey. Minyoung luring them in with a well timed scream and cry for help, they would just run right into her trap. Nothing tasted better than betrayal, especially on middle aged men that probably thought they’d get something out of helping a woman in distress. No one likes a hero. 

All nerves in her body stood at attention when she heard something scratching the walls of the alley. She was quick to turn around and position herself behind the body, protective over her meal.

She was hesitant to reply at first but the mention of food had all of her attention. “More?” She looked down at the body that was beyond recognizance, how much she had eaten of it without knowing. “And what do I have to do for it?” Minyoung asked, straightening up from a crouch before tacking another question on almost as an afterthought. “Who are you?”

Nowhere to Run || Seon&&Minny

     Her breath is accelerated, heart overactive in excitement. Eyes relaying the thrill of the chase, she runs from her pursuer flanked by two other ghouls. Bodies on the precipice of decomposing, chunks missing from their flesh, were left behind in the parks they had just frequented. It was a game she’d joined her fellow companions in; chasing humans down with their sub par running and speed and eating until their bellies were full and adrenaline was sated. 

     It was their carelessness that had them in their current trouble, CCG hot on their trails. Minyoung thought that they stood no chance at catching them; that was until she was struck on her side, hands immediately clutching the open wound in confusion as she leaned towards an alley. There was a man close behind her striking once again as she tried to shake them, hissing from behind her mask.. 

     “Just come back for her! These two are more dangerous!” She hears from another one of them up the street. The man gives her just one more glance and then he’s running after the others. She slides against the wall, fingers pushing together the ripped flesh of her side, trying in vain to get it to fix itself. When it doesn’t work she’s confused, never been hurt like this in her lifetime. Her sisters had told tales of bodies regenerating after an injury, but of course her overactive mind had completely forgone the crucial information about being full, having to eat for the process to work. 

     She groans to herself, sound echoing around her in the alley. She can hear the fall of running footsteps and thinks this is it, they’ve come back for her so soon. When she looks up, with a seething glare, it’s pointed not at the man from before but a new woman.
