it seems like china's language uses lots of kyowa-go (協和語), which is the chinese-japanese hybrid that appeared in occupied manchuria. the usage of aru/yoroshi are both indicative of this. it's apparently common for chinese characters in anime to speak in a manner reminiscent of kyowa-go.

on a brighter note, reading china's dialogue in JP has given me a bit more appreciation for his character. using ガキ/gaki (brat/kid/urchin) and お前ら/omaera (rude second person plural)... there's a very condescending and sarcastic tone to him, it's charming! not to mention his opening line is 「ふー・・・またあるか・・・」 ("Fuu... yet again...") he's SO dramatic, I already love it. ALSO he uses lots of kanji where other characters don't which makes him feel older i think. he also says 菓子 instead of お菓子, removing the honorific, which is apparently a "vulgar/low" alternative.

while (probably?) an accurate cultural translation of kyowa-go (he skips particles in both ENG and JPN), i feel like him speaking improper english in the english dub might potentially take away from his aura a bit... (setting aside the Obvious Issues with it)
