Why is it so hard for everyone to understand that Lebanon is straight? Every fucking one in this fandom headcanons him as gay, gay, gay! He can be straight too, fuckers.

It's so tiring, especially since Lebanon is my boyfriend too. I've literally been shifting to the Hetalia universe for like a year now, and he told me straight up that he is STRAIGHT and NOT ATTRACTED TO MEN! Yet this fandom keeps shipping him with men. All. The. Fucking. Time.

Like, no offense to gay people or anything, but is it that hard to comprehend that he's not gay? He's fucking LEBANON for fuck's sake! Being gay is illegal there!

And also, stop shipping him with his enemies. Saudi Arabia does not love him, they hate each other! Neither does Iran love him because they're straight and with India! And Brazil literally has a genderbend you can ship Lebanon with, so you don't have to ship him with the male version! CAUSE HES STRAIGHT!!

*sighs* I'm just really tired, especially as his girlfriend because whenever someone says he's gay or he's in a relationship with Saudi Arabia or someone else he would NEVER get in a relationship with because he's STRAIGHT, I feel like I'm being erased. And I feel like I'm... I'm not worth...

The dog is a 200+ lb Tibetan Mastiff named Sengge and belongs to Tibet! The Tibetan Mastiff has historically served as a livestock guardian but also a guard dog against predators of the Himalayans. The red thing hes wearing is called a kekhor, and traditionally is made from dyed yak wool. When a dog moves with it, the fluttering of the khekor is meant to make the dog look like its head is encircled by flames.

I’m so excited to finally share my Hetalia oc with you all!! She’s existed for a while now, but I’ve finally managed to make a proper introduction for her! I’ve always been obsessed with these chibi chibi character sheets Hima posted to his blog, and I think I did a oretty good job at recreating the style! Her human name is Ellen Corlett Kirkland, and she’s related to the rest of the uk bro’s and Ireland. In the family line, she’s the third oldest after Scotland and Wales. Her cat's name is Carrey, which means friend in Manx! If you have any questions about her, feel free to ask! I’d love to answer. Performative self-flagellation over being white is not a substitute for doing serious introspection about the ways you have been complicit in or rewarded by a white-supremacist society, nor doing the work to dismantle white supremacy.

A white person chiming in to a conversation about racism to say "I'm sorry for being white" or "white people suck, I say this as a white person" is just a masturbatory way to try to assuage your own feelings of shame without actually doing anything. It doesn't make you look like "one of the good ones." It makes you look like someone who centers your own feelings about it.
