great story of this painting painted by Josep Maria Sert and given to the city council of Palamos at the beginning of the Spanish civil war, Sert painted the painting with a Catalan flag and another republican one, when the republicans began to destroy churches (and in those destructions the paintings by Sert in the church of Tarragona) requested that the painting be returned to him to change the republican flag for the Spanish one!!
